Yep, experienced that as well. While you have to resubmit a few times now to get it through, fortunately it's still not as strict as FB.
Depends who you're targeting.. is 10k impressions a huge increase % wise? You might just be targeting tighter than most?
country, age, gender, and one state exclusion. age targetting is 20 wide, so very broad.

Has ad approvals changed? Even a few weeks ago they were typically approved within the hr on weekday and within a few hrs on the weekend, but lately I submit in morning and won't be approved until late in the day. Today....stuff from the morning, still not approved.

Doubtful, there's not make accounts that don't have income specified so it could be just really low account #'s that make up the huge %.
Depends on the day, some days are faster, some slower but we always go through the queue before 5pm PST.

1. Keep CPC out, CPM is better for reasons mentioned on that thread.
2. Less blocking of offers with little to no warning and questionable justification. The pool of offers you can promote on PoF is shrinking at an accelerating rate...
3. Some way to know if you're bidding too high to be the #1 ad shown and/or just doing $0.01 over the next highest bid like most ad platforms.

Ben, what are the ranges of ctrs you see on the 110x80 ads? I've tested about 6 campaigns there and exact copies of ads doing well on FB and content network are getting .02-.05 ctr, and even my best performing ad is getting like .067 over 20k impressions making my cpc about 50 cents or so, and i'm sure you know not many offers have high enough epcs that can work with 50 cent clicks. All my ads targeted females 18-26 with session depth >3 without PHD's/postdoc degrees and again, the ads worked on other platforms. Why can't I get above .06 ctr or so? Am I not bidding high enough, and hence getting unoptimized placements? What's considered a good ctr, wat's considered average, for those type fo small format ads? Thanks
One of the biggest mistakes people make is the "what worked on ___ will work on POF", which is untrue. Dating traffic is it's own beast and while it's considered social traffic, it's not exactly the same as something like FB. I'd aim for a 0.15% CTR.
I know Ben mentioned that approvals will be slower than usual since the PoF crew is going on a weekend retreat, but has anyone gotten any approvals since Friday mid-day? I have some ads sitting in the queue and was wondering if it's a fluke, or if they aren't approving at all while they are away.
