Both look incredible. I'm kind of torn, being a mostly FPS guy - and loving the multiplayer aspect of games like Black Ops, MW2, and TF2 - Crysis 2 looks like one of the better multiplayer FPS's to come out in the past few years. Only problem is...I hated the first Crysis. There was just too many controls for the suit that I couldn't manipulate fast enough to be really good, so it ended up just being a simple "run-n-gun" game with good graphics.

Portal, on the other hand, was one of the most innovative and fun puzzle games ever made.

I'm leaning toward Portal 2, but am prolly going to put in hours on both.

I felt the same way about the original Cysis. Portal looks to be typical Valve excellence and the cake is a lie. Portal all the way.
 
Portal 2. Portal was awesome and this one will have even more cool stuff + co-op.
The only multiplayer fps that keeps my interest are the battlefield games.

Portal 2.

And Killzone 3 if you own a PS3, especially if you enjoyed the class style of gameplay from the TF series.

Crysis was garbage IMHO.

Portal 2 co-op is either gonna be the best thing to ever happen to video games, or the biggest failboat in history.
 
Well most will probably get both, and both for PC for me.

Yeah Crysis was more of benchmark than a game, but still not bad.
 
Yeah, can someone explain that? Why is Crysis used as a benchmark in almost every article you see on chips and GPUs?

Is there something special about the engine it uses?
 
because crysis 1 and the new crysis 2 had top of the notch graphics and many new gameplay features like the nano suit was.

Somehow I have a feeling that crysis 2 MP will rock.
And as I puzzle all day at work I prefer FPS in the evening :p
 
Never had any interest in Crysis besides the tech but had a lot of fun with the first portal so definately portal 2.
 
Portal 2 definitely. I've played Portal through start to finish like 6 times, including the bonus puzzles. I even listened to all of the dev commentary.

I have totally drank the Ubisoft koolaid since Far Cry.

I even liked Crysis but my machine was pretty fast and I thought running up to people and shooting them in the head and running off was hysterical.

Crysis 2 will be so much better I think. Supposedly more open maps.

Whenever you play something else like Bioshocks or GTA you realize how good Ubisoft usually is, and how open the maps are.
 
Never Played Portal but after looking at the trailors above it looks pretty sweet. Although I am really looking forward to the new Crysis game - the multiplayer looks amazing.

In any case I'll prob be picking both of them up at some point.
