they stop every single person when they leave sam's club. guess all those people should sue too...
Hell anything that was behind a lock cage or had a lock wrap on it is checked for a receipt at the door of Best Buy. (and who can blame em with the increase of shoplifting and such in this recession)
Fact of the matter is, retailers are 99.99999% of the time on private establishment, most even state that they reserve the right to search your bags and such. Just like how most have the right to refuse service, which they should next time OP goes to the store ie: long as it doesn't infrindge upon reasons of civil liberties such as race, religion, etc, but if they discriminated against stupidity too often places like Walmart might go out of business.
