I was in the hearing loss industry for years, and I've heard the horror stories of what happens to people.
I highly recommend that everyone keep a bottle of
NAC around the house. It's one of the single best antioxidants around. It's the best way to raise glutathione levels in the body. Nac has been
studied a shit-ton in regards to hearing loss. Even by the US Navy. The results are clear that taking NAC before, or even within an amount of time afterwards can prevent hearing problems and tinnitus.
I take NAC with me anytime I go to bars. It detoxes the liver, and protects my ears against the always too loud music.
Since you already have tinnitus, there are some things that might help on top of the Nac. Some people get relief, while others do not:
- High does magnesium + zinc
- High dosed antioxidants in general

- Ginkgo extract is often recommended. But I'm hesitant to recommend it.
