Trans Fat Free, Gluten Free, Sulfer Free, MSG Free, Refined Sugar Free, lactose intolerant...what a bunch of fucking fads. Here's the deal, people have been eating this shit for hundreds if not thousands of years. And in the past 5 years, every one of these things is now the worst possible thing you can consume. Yeah right.
People need to sack up and start eating meat, dairy, and all the other foods we've lived on since the dawn of man. I'm telling you this world has turned into a bunch of pussies.
It is an autoimmune disease because your immune system is mistaking gluten for an enemy and attacking itself, that is the very definition of an autoimmune disease.
If you don't have the disease, you're still going to lose weight because you're going to be eating a lot less carbs. That still doesn't mean gluten has anything to do with it.
If your intestines don't have physical damage, you're not gluten intolerant. The only way to know is to stick a camera up your ass.
Bump. This thread has some good info for those interested in going Gluten Free.
Dream how did it go for you?
Eric do you eat oatmeal?
Contaminated processed food?just eat whatever people a century ago ate and you are all set for healthy diet
people say the gluten free diet will make you lose weight but the fact is there aren't many brands of junk food that are gluten free so it is simply a side effect most of the time.
gluten free is the next acai.
I'm also enjoying a gluten and dairy free diet (actually it's mostly paleo - though I'm not a fan of labelling it like that) - except for one day per week (as most others).
My mom makes gluten free oatmeal cookies that are fucking off the hook, but that's the only time I eat any type of oatmeal. She uses gluten free oats. There are a few brands out there that offer them although I haven't looked in probably 7 or 8 years. I know Bob's Red Mill sell's gluten free oats also.

Go Primal.
Been on it year and half.. changed my life. Shit is insane. Great for you.
The crux of the matter is this: It is very much worth it to adjust your diet to your body's needs. The transformation to better health is worth every sacrifice you make in improving your diet. With this mindset, it's much easier to educate yourself and test what is the right diet for you. I'd recommend learning from Dr. Mercola online.
If you are very sensitive to gluten, you have to be vigilant and don't cheat at all. Do your research from reliable sources, not people just spouting an opinion. This can be life-changing for you and is worth the trouble, believe me.
I'm vegan now
yeah, why look for what the cave-men men ate in all these primal dieting books, when you can look back at what was not so distantly fine for healthy nutrition of millions. and it's easier to analyze than thanContaminated processed food?
