Review some of these logos for me? (Some are kinda cool?)

It would be basically for all of the above. There will be resources that help students in school, a forum to talk about life in general, and other fun things to do on the site.
im not too big of a fan of any of them, in particular. but...
my vote goes to 3.
3 because he kinda looks like a trouble maker. like from the game bully or whatever. thats the closest to being good as-is right now out of all of them. its clean, fairly straight forward, and has some scenery to it. headquarters is a little small though.
theres alot of logos with big, corporate looking buildings. they seem out of place seeing as this is for high schoolers. i definitely didnt go to hs in a tower. i think i know where your going with that, though. you want the towers to seem like they are the 'headquarters' but, in my head at least, i dont think of a building when i hear 'high school headquarters', i think of just another attempt at playing on words to making high school sound 'cool' or something. im not putting it down at all, it just sounds kinda generic to me at least, but thats not to say it wouldnt work with others.
7 is nice (2nd place vote) but take the martini out of the guys hand. yes, that is what goes on in high school. but, eh, youd want a legit image. think about it. if, ideally, you get huge and people start analysing 'the next big site for high schoolers' (aka High School Headquarters), theyll likely start to call attention to the promotion of alcohol in the logo. the bubbles in the back and the dress of the dudes in it convey the idea well enough, though
also, it looks like your trying to force the grunge theme on all of these. me, personally, im a fairly conservative, clean design person so it might not be my taste but, like 9 for example, it just seems like you threw the noise on there just to have noise.
2 looks like a cruise liner or something, btw i know you were going for the building-out-of-the-ground look but, if you end up using it, you might want to consider making the base wider or something
your definitely on to something dude, keep tweaking and you will have something quality soon.

I understand where you're coming from and its something that I'm thinking about.
Maybe if I had the guy sleeping on the desk with the books, the rocker (music), a guy DJing (turntables/big headphones/speakers) for partying, and an athlete of sorts for sports that would be pretty sweet

Maybe a kid hitting a crack pipe in the bathroom, a rapper spitting rhymes on the lunch tables, gang bangers doing drive by's in the parking lot and basketball???????

I personally dont think #3 will work well for my target audience. It is very 1 dimensional in the sense that it is just a very studious looking person, with just books in the background. It wouldn't target the teenagers I'm really looking.
I agree with your thoughts on the corporate tower. It definitely shouldnt be the focus of the logo.

#4 would be my choice. I'd definitely steer away from any of them that show kids holding alc... I mean, any parent gets a hold of that logo and you're probably up for some stupid ass lawsuit - "This website is trying to influence my kid to go drink!"
