Rocket strike on Tel Aviv - sirens heard first time after 20 years, during Gulf war

Over the past 12 years, the residents of southern Israel have suffered over 12,000 rockets fired at them from the Gaza Strip. This is what their life has looked like over the years.

Maybe they shouldn't have stolen the Palestinians' land and locked them in a ghetto on the strip.

Most Americans won't see this on the news, but this is typical of conflicts between Hamas and Israel.

Reuters said:
Two days of Israeli air strikes have killed 19 Palestinians - seven militants and 12 civilians - including six children and a pregnant woman. A Hamas rocket killed three Israelis in the town of Kiryat Malachi on Thursday morning.

Somehow Israel always seems to kill 4x as many of the other guys, and yet Israel is always the victim.

6 kids and a pregnant woman. I bet pro-life Republicans are loving that.

And what did you have to say when they were bombing the west bank last year.

You know, they deliberately bombed the Palestinians when all the kids were getting out of school right?

You've got it wrong with fuck Israel. Fuck all violent states.

Governments kill a lot more women and children than terrorists or corporations.

Well of course governments kill more women and children than terrorists or corporations. Governments are terrorists and corporations.

we are living in the age of false flag ops so it does not matter for me now what the box is saying. mind is blown. wars without rules. the guy who invented terror to wage war on terror should get a cookie - peacekeepers is a job in big demand nowadays

If poor Indian people kept a state inside the United States of America, after all the genocide and aggression perpetrated against them, and one day started dropping rockets on surrounding aggressor states, what would happen, Guerilla?

Why are you saying the Palestinians "keep a state"? They have been systematically murdered and had their land stolen. Is there somewhere else they are supposed to go?

Also, yeah, I expect aggressor states to create organizations like Hamas by proxy, so they can then use Hamas as a justification to perpetrate more violence and abuse against the victims, under the moral cover of "self-defense".

It's a strange world where 3 Israelis (we don't even know they are Jews) are killed by rebel/insurgent/terrorist rockets, and that's the moral outrage, not the 19 dead Palestinians, some of which were children killed by the Israeli government.

I don't care about Palestine or Israel. I don't care about Judaism or Islam.

Aggression is wrong. Murder is wrong. I don't compromise on either position.

Flame me if you must, but what happens in the Mideast isn't as important as it used to be. None of the above nations seem to have gotten the memo their disputes aren't as earth-shaking as in the past.

U.S. energy independence is no longer just a pipe dream

Reminds me of the following:

Remember the Roman Empire. For a long, long time the state of Judea behaved in ways which annoyed the Romans but didn't do them any harm. At the point at which they were becoming a nuisance the Romans destroyed their temple, wiped them out and told them 'An empire has bigger concerns than you.'

This is what Israel faces in the next 25 years. The risk that the American Empire will say 'Wait a minute, you don't matter to us so much.' Either because 'We need oil more than we need you.' or because 'oil is no longer important' -it doesn't matter... it has the same effect- 'You are more trouble than you are worth. And the issue of the Holocaust and anti-Semitism is declining with the demographic move to the next generation.'

This is a catastrophe for Israel.

Because Israel has no other friends in the world.

It was UN's decision, after all. They have been given the land, the land that their ancestors built and rebuilt throughout the history.

But look, even that doesn't matter, let's leave that aside.

When the state has been established the way it was in 1948, Israel has been attacked numerous times by armies far greater then there is citizens (including children and old man) living in Israel back then, and EARNED the right to stay there, by fighting the war they didn't start, and winning it, even giving the land back to their neighbors, hoping they will accept it gracefully.
(Sinai went back to Egypt after being won, fair and square in a war that was not started by them). Why did they give them back the land that is 10 times more resourceful then what Israel is today, packed with oil, watch the video I posted).

This has happened with various nations across the world all the time in the history. That's how many countries around the world formed and became relevant in the history of the world. The place you live in is no different.

Good, I hope the rockets kill OP. He deserves it. If you are in israel and you aren't up your gov'ts ass to fix the palenstine situation _some other way_ than killing them, you deserve it.

I was in Iran, during the Iran-iraq war. You just seem like a major pussy-fagget to me. Go protest your gov't or fucking die, scum.

I mean, you _really_ seem like a whiny bitch faget.

This is who you are fighting:
