Russell, are you going to sue the Niagara Falls strip club because you invented the striptease/pole dancing?
than_west because you keep bringing this up over and over.
I am not suing anyone for using the trademark. My attorney registered the trademark on my behalf AFTER Pace (Pace claims it wasn't him but his email was on the registration form and he had to have digitally signed) or Pace's accomplice (Yes he claims there was an accomplice who according to him is 100% responsible a.k.a. Doe1 because Pace refuses to volunteer who that person is) applied for the trademark and used it to shut down several of my assets on Facebook. I can comment no further on the subject.
I know that members of WF have been critical about the FB group's existence and all that but a lot of people did enjoy it and it's not like you were forced to go there or anything. For me it was one of my favorite toys. Having someone just attack it like that and take it down. It's the principal of it. That's why I was so pissed personally and if you look on FB and see how many groups out there are trying to copy the formula now, it's obvious that there was a certain magic to it. It was also the first of its kind. I started it as an experiment when FB rolled out groups in 07 and never really expected for it to take off the way it did.
PS All this posting I'm doing must be helping the search rankings along nicely.
I never really did much SEO when I made my screen name it was because I heard this place was a rough crowd and I wanted to stay under the radar as a mailer.
Dude half the comments posted on that page are impersonations.
Get real.
Talk to April Cooksey. For several years I was one of Hydra's most consistent mailers.
The money from the sponsorships was used to purchase ads from Facebook and to pay affiliates - Brittany Bankston for instance to grow the group. That group was not the only aspect that was shut down or threatened. Additionally, I did and still continue to give back to the community on-going. After the site was shut down the remainder of Neverblue's sponsorship was used to finance the new site.
