Oh but let me count the ways!
- Have they each murdered, in cold blood without remorse, thousands or more people in other countries? Check.
- Have they each governed over a political machine that murdered thousands or more people in their own countries? Check.
- Do they each control the minds of their subjects with propaganda and lethal force if necessary? Check.
- Have they each added more laws stealing freedom from their subjects? Check.
- Do they each have such braying sheep like yourself defending his team against the "evil" enemy that would supposedly harm him worse than he would? Check.
Power corrupts 100% of the politicians that get it. It just takes time for pre-existing laws to be broken down enough for the really horrible shit to start happening.
And guess what? Obomba just broke the last few laws that holds holocaust-like behavior in check. No matter who is next in line, they are going to abuse that power and be like Hitler, Pol pot, or Lenin. Even Rand Paul, he'll come up with ways to kill tens of millions of people because nothing is stopping it, and power will corrupt him to do so. (If obomba doesn't beat him to it.)
Are you actually claiming that the american people would rise up against a real tyrant and throw him out of the whitehouse? But then who would sign their welfare checks? And wouldn't they miss jersey shore?
At least Putin didn't sign an executive order stating that he has the right to kill you without a trial on his say-so alone. In fact I don't think even Hitler did that! It used to be that tyrants would keep quiet about their scary ambitions but nowadays we have a much bolder form of scary brewing.
There is, it's called P2P decentralization, including Bitcoin... And I almost respect Putin as an adversary because he's the only leader out there that was smart enough to see the threat and make it illegal. His country may be one of the last to fall from decentralization, but it's still unavoidable given time, unless he closes his borders and rips out the internet.
