If western media talks anything about ex USSR you should read it other way round. If they say someone is bad means he is good for USSR, Russia, Ukraine and bad for western world.

29th of January - Ukrainian Prime Minster Mykola Azarov resigns from his post and that same day flees to Austria.

22nd of February - Yanukovich flees the country.

23rd of February - Rada appoints the Chairman of the Parliament, Oleksandr Turchynov (who by law takes over the role of the president of Ukraine, if there's no prime minster to take over).
