So what GUNS do you own? I'll start with a couple of mine.

No wonder why your country have alot of school shootings when everyone have a arsenal at home..

Yeah, that has to be it! Why didn't i see that before?

What are the amount of crow-bar deaths in the UK? :p

You are retarted. STFU. I'm tired of hearing that shit.

While I tend to agree with you, you might want to learn how to spell "retarded".

A quick search of school shootings in recent news headlines turns up 16 killed in Germany and 2 killed in Norway, so, not an exclusively American phenomenon.

There have been school shootings (and stabbings for that matter) all around the world. Stabbing sprees are quite popular where there are few guns and are often equally or more deadly.

Yes, there have been numerous shootings in US schools, but other than the extreme cases of Columbine and Viginia Tech, most instances total 1-3 deaths and aren't complete massacres.

In fact, of the top 10 death tolls in school shootings, the US only accounts for 3 of those events, with the remainder happening in Canada, Europe, and Israel.

edit: Actually make that 2 in the US because I didn't consider Beslan, Russia in the totals.

School shootings happen all over the world, not just in the U.S. Also, the fact that I have a gun doesn't increase the risk of a school shootings. Unstable kids and irresponsible parents are the causes of school shootings.

Good catch. ;)

Alright, one day a couple months back I was board and went through most of the YouTube videos. This one was one of the most ridiculous ones I came across, I just found it again a minute ago. Watch at least 3 minutes.

I bet this shoot cost 50K+ (4th edit, vid still going), just a guess.

I would have edited my other post but my 10 minutes was up. It may be that the US doesn't even rank in the top 10 school shootings around the world because there are numerous others in the charts that happened in other countries that don't have death tolls listed.

The fact of the matter is that the world is a violent place, get used to it.

Last one, didn't see this one yet though, worth watching (if you want to see 100K round fired in < 3 minutes).

I don't own any guns myself, but I did grow up with over 22 guns in the house. My daddy bought us a 30/30 to play with out at the lake when we were young teenagers, but only my older sister really took up squirrel hunting. I don't eat game, so I never got into shooting at it. :)

Like I said, I grew up surrounded by any number of customized shotguns and rifles - some of them antiques, in my dad's collection. We were taught how to care for them and how to leave them alone. They live in locked cases and such, and we never felt the need to kill ourselves or others. To me it's perfectly natural for someone who knows how to use one to have a gun. I wouldn't mind having one under lock and key, but I just don't. Not my personal style, I guess.

In the case of global melt-downs and such, I'll just pack the boys into the double stroller and walk over there. They live about 10 minutes away on foot, and I think half of the guns are here and the rest stored up at the lake.

The joke around here is to shoot 'em as they come in the window, but be sure to pull 'em all the way through - just in case.

Again, eliminate the source of actually being able to own one and the chances will fall considerably. Again look at UK stats.

I can't help it, I have to ask this: are you actually so stupid or you just pretend to be?

Gangsters and robbers don't get their guns by legal methods (at least not in my country or US), so "eliminating the source" as you say would just make it harder for citizens to get guns for self defense, but murderers and robbers won't be so affected by those laws.

UK is more advanced in the state of dictatorship, we know it. That it makes you feel good to trust your "safety" to your gov doesn't mean you have to wish the same for US or for other countries.

Read what that girl said above, the ownership of guns is a right for the people and is written in the Constitution for a Very Special Reason. Read some history books if you don't get it.

Very nice. That'll show those goddamn squirrels who's boss.

But seriously, I want everyone that posted photos of your arsenals in this thread to know that because of you, I'll likely be dropping some dough on not just one, but several new toys.

That's money that could have went to charity (admittedly, probably not).

Or back into my business (actually, no because I keep biz & personal separate).

Or a weekend locked in a hotel room with five 8 balls, three cases of beer, two half-gallons of whiskey and a moderately-priced hooker (probably the most likely of scenarios if only I could get permission from the gf :().

But noooo... Now I can't get my mind off getting something new (above and beyond the H&K I was going to grab up anyway).

I do hope you're all happy.

;)

You US guys are lucky being able to own all that stuff - before the UK got nuts I used to own a sweet tricked out 1911 Gold Cup .45, .22 Walther GSP and a 9mm Jericho (poss the 941 stainless if memory serves but it was 10 years ago!)

I don't currently own anything, but I do have the keys to the candy store as it were...my day job is actually as manager of a gun store in the UK...so I get to just borrow what I want! I do miss the pistols though...made a good profit out of the gov. enforced buy back anyway at the time. And I would agree that the UK now has way more gun related crime than it ever did when pistols were legal.

I personally abhor guns. But I really want my man to be able to use one if he has too. Perhaps it's pure indoctrination but it's too late to change now...
What turns me off a little (don't know why) are all these tough guys walking around talking about how "oh I am a kickass kick boxer" (pun intended). I am always like WTF? Can you kick a fucking bullet? If you are going to be a tough guy you mind as well do it right and go learn how to shoot...

Ah Guns, I love' em, got my FFL so I could sell them too.

Anyway, here's my HK Tactical with can:

My DPMS .308 sniper (have a titanium jet supressor for it now)

and my previous Mossberg Shotty (loved it) but replaced it with a heavily modified Saiga-12

Not shown:

FN 57 pistol
FN 2000 rifle (very cool)
HK 2000 pistol
Rock River Arms AR15 with trijicon scope
Saiga-12 shotty with 10 round mags (looks scary)

On order: Barrett BMG 82A1 Semi 50 Cal.

I like the Swiss idea of arming their citizenry...only sure way to ensure the protection of individual rights.

Peace

You can get away with kicking someones ass *no cops involved...you can't get away with shooting someone.

But it's good to know both methods, as each situation is unique.
