Is there anyone who you disagree with and don't label a liberal/socialist?[/quote

no not really. You must remember that I live in a state that is 95% conservative. Therefore only the gays,African Americans and college students are liberal.

you do realize that this is just a troll and his way of trolling is to just regurgitate Sean Hannity's opinion right??

And this is nothing, I know of people who have over $250,000 worth of firearms (to put it in perspective, that's about $6,000). It's a beautiful thing. I love this country.

Curious to know - Of all the people who have guns, do you also know basic self defense? Ever take any classes ect? Cause from what it sounds like, lots of you are saying guns are for safety, but i can't picture you carrying guns everywhere you go. So what if you get jumped/mugged in public (more likly to happen imo) how will you defend yourself then? If most of you DO know self defense, then my apologizes. But it just seems, owning a gun is more for fun/show then safety.
.

I have taken Self Defense classes, some basic Krav Maga...but I'm also 6'3 290lbs...I don't get fucked with that often. And when I do, I seem to handle myself all right. I also possess a Concealed Weapons Permit and carry as often as I can. With training (nothing formal, just me in the desert) I have gotten my draw down to under 2 seconds.

And lets say they decide the car is not enough, they want to break into the gun cabinet?

See were im coming from? Not trying to put down guns, like I say hitting targets/competitions can be fun I just don't like the idea of having them in your home. No need for them in your personal home.

Odds are you're not even reading this thread anymore, but I still feel the need to chime in. Let's say the gun cabinent is not enough. Let's say that the intruder has a tingle in his panties and wants to have his way with your wife or daughter. What are you going to do then? Call the police....and wait while the intruder molests your child? Good luck with that.

I pity people like you. Ultimately I think you're afraid of personal responsibility. You would rather see to it that my safety, my well being, is put in the hands of complete strangers, all because you're frightened of firearms. But let's forget that. Let's put aside the obvious need for citizens to be able to own firearms for defensive reasons. Look throughout history. How many times did gun confiscation precede mass genocide and tyrannical uprising?

The founders had a lot of experience with tyranny. And as such the second amendment was created. Not to make sure that people can protect their loved ones and property, but to resist government encroachment of our freedoms. The purpose of the second amendment is to prevent our government from becoming so powerful that it can have complete free reign over every aspect of our lives. It is a last line of defense against fascism. That is why the American people are guaranteed a right to own firearms. That is why that right should never be taken away. In a world with Patriot acts, Military Commission Acts, and an increasingly popular socialist "let's take from those who work to give to those who wont" agenda, I'm glad that over 1/3rd of my country is armed.

So you can take your little cry baby antics and shove them up your ass.

"...to disarm the people - that was the best and most effectual way to enslave them." George Mason.

"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of people always possess arms, and be taught alike especially when young, how to use them." Richard Henry Lee, 1788, Initiator of the Declaration of Independence, and member of the first Senate, which passed the Bill of Rights.

"And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms" Thomas Jefferson

"The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." Thomas Jefferson.

Love the AK one of the best guns you can own.

I think he has everyone. If you look at the list above it matches his pic exactly.

BTW- want the P22 but can't spring $400 for a .22. Maybe one day.

$400? I just got my second one at a local gunshow last month and I only paid $325.00 and I got two magazines.

The Taurus is missing from the pic, I lent it to my Dad. and I left out the Cobra .380 (little shiney one at the top), that's my wifes. Aside from that, the pic is legit, but I can do a spoon pic if so desired...I won't be back home for a while and I'm not hauling the all out again, but I'll put a spoon in the same spot where I took the pic.

And as to the p22...man I have so much fun with that. I only paid 319 for mine, so I would shop around. And plus, the money you save on ammo is worth it alone.

Why do people in USA mostly use AK47 when they bring up the AK family? It's an outdated rifle.

There are so many newer modifications. Why such fascination with a (castrated) version of an automatic that was replaced in 1976?

Is it because they are cheaper than, say, AK101 or AK104?

They are indestructible.
