1. Post on WF that most people have been paid and "a few" will get their wires next week.
2. Pray that you actually get paid and dont end up eating $x,xxx, xxx
3. Attempt to cut losses by stiffing affiliates
4. Lose reputation as a legit network
5. ???
6. Profit....?
The advertiser doesn't want to pay for what they see as fraud.
:338:It involves money laundering, a ponzi scheme based on credit, credit card fraud, bank fraud, lies, greed, deception and absolute disregard for any rational approach of 'smart people'. I mean just about everything short of violence and murder so far, and quite frankly, I wouldn't be shocked if that's what we start seeing next.
Was promised Sat. by AM that we would be paid Yesterday. Still nothingCopeac has been really good on paying but a month with no pay = lost money for both of us. Would love to see my 20K+ at least this week.
So its now Tuesday night already (Wednesday on the right hand side of the screen).
Surprise surprise Deepak has not yet wired Mike.
Apparently its coming tomorrow?
A couple of issues I have with this whole situation (apart from the obvious that i have over 20k in limbo)
a) Mike here stated above that not all pubs were held back, only "a few"
"A few pubs with recent traffic (past 2-3 weeks) have not been paid yet"
I've never had problems with the quality of my traffic so the question begs to be asked why was I one of the few that was not paid. Further, who was paid ? Was it the big guys who got paid leaving 'a few' small guys in the lurch? Or maybe the ones outside of the US (not so close to NJ to come knocking) who didnt get paid?
So why me?
How many is a few and why am I one of them.
My second issue with how this is playing out, is why am I not getting paid on the traffic I made that didnt go to Dee, (CPS offer - over 10k of leads Ftw)
Why are those funds being held out on me?
My final question is - what are you going to do if Dee says the wire was sent... and you dont get it (or if he is honest?!?! and says he isnt/can't send it)
considering Mike hasnt came back to discuss this, fuck copeac... no longer running with them myself now, I see no point in it.
They cant hedge against an advertiser that didnt pay them and protect my monies, then I have no need for them. I can broker my own deals cause now its just same risk.
Thanks for the parties in Vegas Copeac, but you could have done better here.
I wasn't around yesterday, had some personal stuff that i am dealing with that is more important that this. I wont be around tomorrow either.
No one ever said to an affiliate you cant broker your own deals. I think a lot of pubs think all a network is good for is cash flow, if that was the case why let a network keep such a big margin as "interest"?
Networks do a lot more than just cash flow, you guys wouldn't even know Acai existed if it wasn't for the ingenuity of networks to work with the advertisers to build out a vertical that everyone of you banked off of.
You are so full of yourself on the last line Mike, so full. First of all, I was running Acai before it got flooded on the networks to begin with and I am sure several others had been too.
Thats like me saying if it wasnt for me coming up with the Acai + Colon combo, all you networks wouldnt have had a fucking leg to stand on in the first place to have even run it. Not to mention your shady ass AM who sold out my info and LP out to a ton of your affiliates on your network as well. Dont play like networks built out this niche.. all most of you did was copy/broker other deals and then later in the game you came out with your own colon offer. If anyone banked off someone, you banked off me and other affiliates ingenuity.
How about paying your pubs and dropping the drama. Affiliate networks are starting to sound a lot like insurance companies now.
Woah hold on now, let's not forget you were at a network and then jacked the original flog from an affiliate on your network. No one needs to be on a high horse here, that includes both of you.
The fact of the matter is Dee owes many networks money and no one wants to completely piss him off because if he walks, everyone is out a LOT of money. It isn't like Copeac is the only network left holding someone's bag here. Whether it was money from Detox, FWM, Opes, Vivera, Rauscher Bekke, or Optimum, he has owed people money for a bit. It's unfortunate for everyone involved in the chain, but this is what happens when a money train that floats a lot of cash comes to a halt.
It is easy for affiliates to turn on networks, but they provide much more than cash flow. You'd be in the same payment boat, if not worse if you all were trying to broker your own continuity deals direct with any of the larger players. Do you really want to be the one who is owed $2-6M?
