Pretentious name, I know, but I wanted my 51. thread to be really cool and need all the attention I can get in order to make this work!

It's cool if it doesn't work too, as I'll be remembered (by myself, mostly) as a guy who at least tried

The idea is this: post your dearest tips here - lessons about everything and anything webmaster related you've learned - and post them one at a time.

If everyone was to do this every now and then, this thread could turn into a massive collection of good, valuable tips that we'd all benefit from.

So let's start, one tip at a time...

Focus on one project until it's finished and log your other ideas for later, instead of jumping all over the place and never (or rarely) actually finishing anything.

Do a search for codes & coupons before you pay for stuff (hosting, domains etc.) as you might find a good discount.
