So just to be clear, we can shit on Nicky and Jon again, Amanda11 is a guy, and it's a transsexual Japanese guy as his avatar.
Free Speech is gone. This is good. I've been a mod and admin before. The government owes you free speech. WF is private property. The house rules are the house rules. If you don't like it, don't be a socialist bitch, go be a capitalist and make your own forum with your own rules. Socialists end up with c0ckmeat sandwiches in prison because they can't buy their way out of gay sex like capitalists can. Plus, whiny bitches moan a lot so they are very popular in the prison dating pools.
Also I like the new WF skin. It isn't as gay ass I first thought, although some member feedback on the next one could make it a little easier on the eyes.
The hazing is ok. It's not like newbs can't read and learn. The posting environment is contribute, say something smart, or STFU. That's how everyone should raise their children, and the world would be a better place.

Putting your heart into WF and making it your "kid", though painful, gave it life. Making it a business now will keep WF alive and you too.....stress shortens everyone's life.

As for the cliques and the hazing thing, you're right, but you forgot to mention that it actually makes this place a lot more fun, and the relationships a lot more real.

Hazing of any kind sucks dick. I hate cliques.
But I don't think WF "hazes" per se, I've seen plenty of examples of total newbies posting intelligent posts and getting nothing but love and help.

I remember hearing of the reaming you get as a noob here...but I also remember hearing of the knowledgeable guys that do the reaming and are making the monies on the interwebs...I guess that's what enticed me to participate in the community... I've established some good relationships here...especially, in a squeez and needing a quick LP or thought bounced off of someone.
When creating any type of community, you want to build something that is brandle, visible, and the members feel a sense of colegiality and belonging. Once you establish yourself here as a contributing member and not a duche, it's almost as if you've earned your stripes. You can stay.
I think regardless of what happenes, this is one of the few places that you can have that feeling of earning your stripes.

I got genuine help when I arrived here at WF over two years ago. I took the time to read, post, and learn. I didn't spam or try to sell an e-book either!
Word. I've turned a corner with AM since I started here and plan to keep moving. This place is great.
Also, congrats on getting the whole "legal" thing behind you without having to show up in court. As the thread said, only the lawyers win in that situation.

Besides.. IMO you don't get hazed as a newbie, you get hazed as a newbie if you don't do research before asking stupid ass questions.
