Was at school, then while at school, I had a part time job for a few weeks selling double glazing door to door. I left that, stayed at school a bit, then left school in December :D

Worked in the fruit+veg department of a shopping centre and then as a hotel waiter back in the day. Good times, just do your shit and go home.

I've never had a real job, but the last time I worked from someone was at a bowling alley back in high school. At least I picked up some solid bowling skills! I can mark the 300 off my list of things to do :)

I was on the management fasttrack for a major German corporation for as long as I could stomach. Hated the corporate culture (really, that particular company is frequently in the national news for its horrendous and often illegal treatment of its employees).

Then I became an automotive journalist and freelance translator. Didn't pay nearly as much, but at least I could live with myself.

Now still doing some journalism beside the IM, since it gets me out of the house about once a week, talking to people outside the IM circuit and driving the newest cars. 'Tis nice.
