What is your dream?

I've thought about this pretty extensively, because I'm a very self-analytical person. I wanted to know if there was something behind my own financial security. It's the "what would you do if you won the lottery" kind of deal.

"Comfortable" Money (making high 5 or low 6 figures)

- Pay off the house
- Get another car or two
- Help my mother financially (she's married and retired, living on a fixed income, but it's not a very comfortable one)
- Spend time travelling the world

"Well off" Money (mid 6 figures to low 7 figures)

- A summer house and a winter house
- Several cars at each
- A new house handicap-equipped for my mother (she had a leg amputated a few years ago)
- Anonymous gifts to some of my relatives who are scraping by, including in-laws
- Work more on my writing (novels; perhaps some screenplays)

"Wealthy" Money (mid 7 figures to low 8 figures)

This is the point at which money becomes personally meaningless because I'd have everything I want.

- Arrange for group functions for the extended family where I would take as many people who wanted to participate on global travels all over the world. This entourage would include trip planners to allow people to see each other and the places of highest interest to them with the most efficiency.

- Set up learning funds for everyone in my extended family, including time limits and grade requirements; not necessarily college, but learning a trade, studying abroad, exploring art, etc.

- Subsidize living expenses for my extended family, with the requirement that their children participate in the learning fund

- Set up funds for the homeless based on potential, especially families. Set them up with apartments, clothing, education, inexpensive vehicles, and try to arrange for employment.

- Pay for a software company to hire writers and teachers to assemble educational software available over the web. This software would encompass as many subjects as possible and attempt to teach through lecture, testing, quizzing, audio/visual demonstrations, etc. I would establish a fund to keep the company going to cover as many topics as completely as possible so someone could log in at a grade 1 learning level and get as complete an education as possible, up to Ph.D's in various fields.

Without getting too preachy, this would become a major thing for me; the management of this educational entity. Many people with potential are wasting it, and I'd try my best to find potential and allow it to blossom by providing grants for starting businesses, taking people out of the welfare cycle, etc.

More money just means more opportunity to do this, and more for my extended family.

I can't see the point of having multiple double-digit million dollar mansions with collections of hundreds of cars, and all kinds of servants and planes and shit... that's wasteful and selfish. I have pretty simple needs.

two chicks at the same time

Best answer so far. Fuck space. Fuck houses. Two chicks at the same time. That's the secret to happiness.

I can't help but notice that pretty much all your dreams concern the welfare of others. I think that's impressive, and you have obviously put a lot of thought into it.

I'm all inspired now...

I think it's money, Lots of money... I think that is the reason we are all here..

4. build a 66 chevy 2 nova - not one of these full restore jobs, but black with big billet rims, nice modern interior with a wild stereo system, and not tons of engine work, but enough to keep it running really well and look ultra clean under the hood. Chevy 2 Only | Gallery

Just got a 69 ss Nova. It is a survivor car with 33k original miles. It is a california car, so it looks gem mint. The paint could barely use work if i was to say i had to get something done to it. It is a baby blue color...its sweet!!
