Super B Complex - 300mg/day

Nope not in the least.... but I do find it funny when you have a guy popping 20+ pills a day and then talk about the negative side effects of steroids and they don't ever give to thoughts about what all those pills will do to your body just because it comes from GNC....

and I am not trying to say papajohn is one of those guys just thought it would be fun to point out the irony...

Still waiting on the pill from the movie "Limitless". Until then, I'm only taking fish oil. And maybe Vitamin D.

there's a huge difference, considering steroids force glandular production of specific hormones. Andro, a precursor, causes large release of estrogen, hence why people on Andro get man-boobs and small balls.

taking multivitamins, protein, fish oil, a stimulant, or even a vasodilator etc are FAR different.

I'm not just some typical retard, I know the science behind these, I know why specific things work, have read the papers, and found why certain things cause certain reactions.

What the fuck? Are you guys taking all these supplements but not working out or something?

Every time pics are posted from conventions or meet-ups everyone is flabby and dumpy looking.

LOL
no doubt. i bet not one person in this thread benches over 300.

my one rep max is hitting right at 300 currently, and for squats on 1-rep I'm pushing the 400 mark. The only one I really suck at is deadlift, I don't think my form is right because I get a bad backache after a few reps and have to stop.

actually i do security for a local bar and before i stopped doing bench and started doing dumbbells i would rep at least 315 at least 5 times for 5 sets without a problem. i also did close-grip with 275 2 sets of 12. I switched to dumbbells because i have a set of ironmaster adjustable dumbbells with the upgrade to 125lbs. each so I have all the weight I need and don't feel like paying a gym membership(i highly recommend these because they are plates and not that cheap plastic bowflex shit). I basically do full circuit training with the dumbbells since I don't have kettlebells for doing MMA type lifting. I don't max out the dumbbells, but I hope that I will one day. I mainly have them at set for 90 or 100 lbs. each, but for shoulders i normally do around 80. I am quite proud that I have repped 100lbs. in each hand on chest flies 10 times at my best, although i can only do 90lbs. in each hand right now. I have leaned out a lot since I switched from bodybuilding to strength and conditioning for MMA. I mean i was pretty lean before, but I weigh less now and can pretty much do around the same amount of weight. I have just really grown to like strength and conditioning a lot more since it is a lot more practical for fight use.

Has anyone hear of this opc-3 isotonix stuff?

Thinking of trying it, heard good stuff and a small minority of bad reviews.

Anyone?

edit: Supposed to be good for energy and for helping you sleep better. I know, seems like two different things but that's what I Hoid.

My 10 ideas for supplements and good health.

I would advise you to understand the role your kidney and liver have in your body. Like anything, supplements should be taken in moderation. Too many, and you face problems down the road. Case in point, my Uncle Chuck's friend who is experiencing liver failure as a result of too many supplements consumed over a lifetime. Your liver is your filter for your blood, think of it as a coffee filter, and anything excessive can harm or damage the liver over the long term. My uncle, also a heavy supplement user, has cut back dramatically as a result of seeing his friend , a former model of good health, dying before his eyes.

What I recommend in general for good health in 10 easy to understand points.

1.,A HIGH quality multivitiman

2. Flaxseed or fish oils, again high quality

3. Coenzyme Q-10 if there is any history of heart disease or stroke in your family health history.

4. A gallon of water a day. Why? Your kidneys will always be working well as opposed to being sluggish if you do not hydrate properly. If your kidneys are working well, then your liver will not have to help your kidneys out, which lets the liver do its primary jobs, burning fats, filtering your blood, etc.

5. Stay away from pharmaceutical drugs, generally they increase the risk for diabetes, a host of harmful side effects, dependency, and many other issues.

6. I believe most here are men, so basicially we eat what is in front of us. If you are gaining weight and do not like it I recommend buying raw nuts, carrots, and whatever fruits and vegetables you can easily graze on at work or at home. I eat lots of raw nuts, specifically cashews, walnuts, almonds, pecans, and others. Roasted nuts are basically "fried" nuts, and just in almonds more then 300 chemical compounds are created. If you give your body the right things, it won't crave the wrong things. Also, I have spent 2-3 hours in the gym daily so I know you can get fixated on it....Now I say this. Weight training is important for men and women, but you can get it done and look good in 20-30 minutes tops, 4-5 days a week. Every body is different, goals are different, but now I am focused on earning so it is hard to earn if I am in the gym, period. I also do cardio naturally, outside when possible.

7. For the gym guys who want to be buffed, I get it...but watch the creatine, it is tough on the kidneys. Drink your proten shakes, but choose wisely, go natural. If you want to burn, I recommend drinking Green tea or Yerba Mate all day( you may not know this tea yet, but it kicks Green Teas butt and burns all day , has tons of antioxidants, vitiments, amino acids, and polyphenols, and it burns fat, also guarana powder mixed with the yerba and a healthy sweetener of your choice. Get away from the packaged crap touting all kinds of burn ratios/etc, its just marketing rhetoric, think long term with your body and mind. I'll send you links of my 80 something guys whacking down trees in South America if you don't believe me. If you want to get ripped, I get it. But don't throw your "long term" body under the bus for the short term. You probably look good enough to get the girl you want anyway, so go earn with the extra time.

8. Don't feel guilty about ice cream, the alcohol binge, whatever you do, give yourself a day or two of guilty pleasure, but come back focused. You have to stay loose and unwind and gain perspective so let it flow by going crazy once in a while.

9. Don't get too drastic, as in no carbs/heavy protein. Coming back to the kidneys, protein is tough on the kidneys, as is creatine, so don't go overboard or extreame. I think a gram per pound of body weight is too high, just my opinion.

10. For cleansing, I recommend either the cabbage soup diet, or the master cleanse. Don't get fooled into programs that tout how they will cleanse you. It is simple and easy to cleanse your body from toxins, I have tried them all and those are my two best recommendations.

i was only referencing the dumbasses who walk into GNC and ask what products will get them huge and then abuse the cycle on cycle off recommendations and take it all in excess.

you are definitely right about the multivitamins, protein, fish oil...

but when people are popping creatine and no2's like candy and don't think about the side effects that can result from the pills on the kidneys and liver.

p.s I am not trying to say steroids are safer than any of those supplements, just poking fun at those who cast the first stone just because their stuff is legal.
