Whatsup Mac Users

I didn't say it was only for fucktards just perfect for them.

If all you're ever known is a MAC then you great. If you're used a PC you're whole life then try a MAC it feels incredibly limiting in terms of available hardware, software and overall freedom to tweak and customize the system to fit your needs. With a Mac it's done Apple's way or it isn't done. You don't like the way they do it, tough shit.

I don't define myself by my computer like Mac people seem to. It's just a tool to get shit done. I have many friends who are Mactards. They couldn't change out a hardware component to save their life. They run back and forth to the Apple store. They just don't have any fucking brains when it comes to the technical side of computers.

There is no right or wrong just personal preference. It's the Mac cultish corporate identity that makes them so unlikeable as a company.

I've been using a PC since the early 90s, and I got this macbook early 2008. I haven't experienced quite what you're talking about, especually since now days a mac is a PC, just different software. It's like trying to hand someone a PC laptop loaded with ubuntu and all they knew was windows before.

Basically the mac owner image overclouded by a bunch of yuppie tight wads, but not much different than PC owners getting the image of being either a group of script kiddy gamers, or technology challenged parents. :P

It could go either way. :P Most of what you said would have been true back before they came out with the intel macs. I remember when I had a PowerMac G4/733mhz back in 2002, it didn't take long before I went right back to PCs (software was far too limited in my opinion at that age of OSX).

ive run into a few issues with some software ive wanted to run wasnt available for my mac.. but other than that i have been nothing but happy with it.. my refurb macbook has been totally trouble free and ill admit i am def not a super tech geek when it comes to computers and most of what i do is just web-based activity(AM etc.) and some media stuff..

for my purposes its been the best investment ive ever made in a laptop... but for some PC may still be the way to go.. i know ill prolly never switch back..

i tried to get a job as a tech at the apple store. i worked in an "apple certified" shop. Being that ive worked on pcs mostly i dont think they wanted me in that environment.

i.e. - i wouldnt talk apple products up like they were the best thing since sliced bread. (because theyre not) The people that work there are morons for the most part

If you are a PC user your whole life and like to actually have control and freedom over your computer then get ready to bang your head against the fargin wall.

Macs are perfect for fucktards, moms, girlfriends, grandmas and morons who need everything locked down so they can't fuck anything up.

hey dumbo..

professionals use Macs.you know why??? because I spend ZERO minutes dealing with a virus, spyware, driver incompatibility, BSODS and all the usual windows shit...

I have a Mac Pro and a VISTA pc next to each other.... the VISTA machine crashes at least once a week... the MAC has been on for months with ZERO problems.

Are MACS better than PCs?

NO

Is their OS better than windows

HELL YEAH

Although WIndows 7 will be a huge improvement.

and I have had PCs since 1992 with a 486 being my first. I know how to put them together, and basically how to
fix any issue with windows BUT i dont have the time.

ha and i forgot this part of the story lol, i went with my dad to get him a student discount, and i noticed they do everything with the portable devices. I tell him im a PC tech and whatever. Later i ask him what OS is on those devices, "like palm or maybe another version of apple?" he says it in the quietest voice he possibly can "its windows mobile" i just laugh. apple fanboy looked like his heart sank

this was last october idk if they still use windows to run the store. lulz
