I think this contest won't generate much activity anyways, Jon isn't giving away anything that is neccessarily valuable, and the winners of his previous contest have already learned how much time and money Jon really puts in his prizes.

You make it seem like I gave you nothing good. Just because I don't have some magic golden keys that make you a million dollars overnight, doesn't mean it's not good. It's a question of how you use it.

I've been pretty good at dealing with you specifically considering the fact that you have been my #1 stalker since that CJ post on SPF. Constantly trying to figure out my sites, threatening to out me in private messages and on my blog, and then having the fucking NERVE to ask for advice. I don't care if you worked for Chris, because it doesn't fly with me. You are a selfish douchebag, hands down, and you're always trying to leech free shit from people nonstop. You have never EVER given back anything useful to the community on any forum. All you do is bitch and moan about this and that. Try doing some work for once instead of constantly trying to steal people's ideas for your own benefit you prick.

You know what, don't apply to any contests anymore and stop posting here, because I have a feeling people are going to start getting annoyed at you fairly quickly. Want a good prize? Do society a favor by drinking the blue liquid from one of the bottles underneath the kitchen sink. I hear it's very tasty. Will give you lots of knowledge on anything you want to make lots and lots of money. How's that for free advice for you. It will do you wonders, trust me. If you start coughing blood, it means it's working.

Aren't you the guy that referred the spammer who's information I posted?

Guess what? We were monitoring your activity during that ordeal and for some reason, you kept jumping from every thread and post he made, into it, replied to most of them, and then you'd both have a look at eachother's profiles.

After I PM'ed you about it, you denied knowing him, but continued to post replied on all of his threads under his different aliases. Then your little hacker pal tries to lie to me saying that he found out about this place because I said I was "anti-communism", which I never said, nor do I give a crap about anyone's political or religious beliefs.

It's also kinda funny, because after doing some research on both of your primary email addresses, you are both part of the same damn communism forum, which leads me to believe that not only did you lie to me, but you also had a hand in that little thing.

Some people are so fucking stupid it amazes me. So yes, by staying away from here for a few days, did you really think I would just forget that you might have had something to do with it? I could care less what you said about the contest, I care a lot more about people who help spammers and hackers try and fuck things up here.

Maybe I'm feeling kinda trigger happy now that I got to tell you this, but you're going onto the suspension list for being a lying sack of shit and helping your little friend spam this place and attempting a DDoS attack. Next time try using DIFFERENT IP's because both of yours are almost identical.. unless of course, you two are the same person?

good job taking the attention off your lame contest prize, you promised a website "built by your team" and you sent a copy of wordpress with free plugins installed to make a scraper site. Nothing I hadn't seen before, actually this software RSSGM has also been released as open source and does a better job at it, so there you go readers everyone has won the prize.
Like most people, I was expecting to get some idiosyncratic knowledge about successful website publishing but the concept of scraper sites is nothing new to most of us.

The rest of your post was just hilarious, because unlike you I help people around on forums instead of posting screenshots and talking crap about people who do actually help a community.

And what are you calling stalking? On sitepoint you bluffed about your sites being unfindable so I proved you wrong, that's what you get for talking tough. Then on your radio show you said no one ever found your sites, so I just hinted towards that you might have forgotten about someone who did find your shit.

I hope you're having fun showing off the social skills you would expect from someone who works at the computer 15 hours a day 7 days a week, everyone is just laughing at you while ur having fun in your own little world here.

Go Jon Go!

Oh, and I agree.
and how can you agree with all this? Not that I care but you were asking about software that does proper forum integration and I even let you make an account on my testsite to check out vbd NG.

I'm pretty new to all this and the "scraper" site was new to me and for a minute there I thought I had something nice... but then I learned more and realized I hadn't really won anything. I was a little disapointed but oh well...

If it sounds to good to be true... it usually is. Try to remeber that folks.

And dont get me wrong... I wasn't expecting some super site that would be like a get rich quick thing.

First off, to defend the prize itself..

It's a WP based script that uses feeds as content for it. Not sure you realize the power of the script on it's own, but I guess that's your own fault. We also added a few plugins and hacks to it to conform to what we though would make a damn good overall site. I showed everyone samples of the site it creates and said "WE DO NOT CREATE ANY OF OUR OWN CONTENT, IT IS ALL BROUGHT IN VIA RSS FEEDS". A few of the disgruntled contest winners had a quick chat with me, and I'm sorry if things weren't made clearer than that. At first I decided to build a site, then figured, you know what, screw the NDA process - it's a huge pain in the ass anyhow, and let them make their own sites for an unlimited amount of niches, instead of just 1. So we took the app, stripped it down a bit, and made it super fucking easy to install, run and get a site booted up.
Now in my defense, we make 100's of these sites a week, and while they don't earn a ton of money, they get by. We make our money on it through volume. If one site works and makes say ie $2 a day from Adsense/YPN then we replicate the shit out of it. So after say.. 1000 sites, all making roughly $2/day or more, we are now making $2k+ a day. See that you greedy asshole?

Peach, you don't help the community much, if anything you're more of a leech to it. You are constantly trying to suck out free info from everyyyyone. And it's not like the avg guy trying to get info, you are relentlessly annoying about it. You badger the shit out of people to the point where they just want to smack you to make you stop. Hopefully you aren't the same way in your social life.

I'm not asking people to devote their life to here, you obviously don't know how to read very well. I was making a point, because the last posting type of contest that existed, you know, the one where you stayed up all night and stuff to get all those posts, so that you could get, what you conjured up as the keys to the palace of wealth, and instead got something fairly basic, but you overlook it's power because you just want to go straight to the paycheck in the sky without doing the work for it? Yeah, well stop being a dick about it and do something about it finally.

I'm not going to ban you because you haven't done anything wrong really. It's not against the rules to be an asshole, because then I would have to ban myself. I don't care that you think this contest sucks, but I've also given a shitload of good advice out, and I know for a fact that it works because not only did it work for me, but it sure as hell worked for others. If you don't like it, don't read it or try it you dumbfuck. No one is force feeding you anything. If you don't like a contest, don't participate. It's all about common sense, which you may lack due to your almost rapist type tendencies of trying to foruce people to give you what you want. (You should get that part checked out too).

Thats the whole thing though Jon... you changed it in the end basically after the contest was over. Maybe you realized it would be to much work to pump out 20 websites all with NDA's and I understand that... but I just really had my hopes up for something a little bit better than this. The link peach posted will basically get me exactly the same thing.

Sure you can put up 1000's of sites... your average Joe like me doesn't even have enough spare cash to register all those domains though. Nor would I even want to go through the process alone.

I admit you have put out a ton of great advice Jon advice and I do thank you for that.

By the way.. to anyone reading this and thinking it's really harsh and whatnot.. Clashing is apart of life. I don't hate anyone I clash with on the boards, I'd much rather get it out and get it settled than have it bottled up inside. I prefer clashing on the boards too, because it gets everyone into a good convo and gets all of the negative thoughts out at once, and feels almost theraputic to do so too. About 10 minutes after someone has an angry post, they usually settle down and get over it. Welcome to WickedFire, land of the harsh reality of the internet marketing industry. I love this place.

Well, then I apologize for not making it clear. I'll try and think of something to give out to you disgruntled folks instead as a show of good faith.

I'm not disgruntled Jon... just disapointed. But, you did teach me a very important lesson. If you want to go anywhere in this business you cannot rely on others to help you get there. You have to do it all on your own. No one is going to give you those million dollar money making tips or share their big money making sites.

No, they're talking about some of the first contests on the board...

I have to agree with the others that I was a little disappointed. Not because I expect to be spoon-fed and handed a moneymaking site with no work... just that when the contest started it seemed like we'd be getting a niche site based on a niche of our choosing made by Jon's programming team.

I think since some of us came from reading Jon's blog we were expecting a niche site much like what he recommended making with unique content. Jon never came out saying exactly what we were going to get (and I didn't see the preview, not sure if all the other winners saw a preview) so it's not like he lied to us and changed the prize. I think my expectations were just for a site of a different nature than we ended up getting.

Uhh, did someone delete their post? I swear I was replying to a question about which contest we're talking about.
