I'm still in college.![]()
Most successful people seem to drop out of school.
Graduated 10 months ago and got my Bachelor degree in CS.
haha, or more like 3% of drop outs are successful (especially high school). You don't hear about the rest because they are to busy making Big Macs.
It wasnt neither for me. I just could never sit still long enough to make it through class it was torture for me.
lol, I guess we will add:
3. Really short attention span
I did a double major with Urban Planning and Sociology. I'm always a little surprised when I hear how much some people hated college. I totally understand hating high school. Most kids don't want to be there and just become distractions in the classroom and the teacher is an overpaid babysitter.
When I first moved out into the dorms it was really a refreshing experience. Meeting a ton of new people (especially hot chicks) that were intelligent and liked to party. I met some of my best friends at college and still hang out with them today more than 10yrs later.
Good luck in your new chapter of life, Dru! Like anything, the more you put into it the more you will get out of it. Join a college club, study groups, etc and take the initiative and meet new contacts. It will make your college experience that much better.
that's true. I went to a school that was full of hot chicks (70% female) but it was a pre-med school. plus there weren't any dorms, so everyone lived far from the school. no dorms = no crazy parties. people went to bars to chill, but I can do that without going to college. Thanks pocket.
The social aspect of college is tough one. It seems, so far, that I am ridiculously unique as far as lifestyle ambitions go. But I guess it is understandable, because most people in my age group probably have no firm idea of what they want to do with their life.
I dont know what the hell you're talking about but Rodney Dangerfield is the man.You got to make college like it was in Back-To-School.
You can either do it when you are young and be like Rodney Dangerfield's son, or do it when your old and do the Triple Lindy like Rodney Dangerfield.
I remember the time I was kidnapped and they sent a piece of my finger to my father. He said he wanted more proof.
I told my wife the truth. I told her I was seeing a psychiatrist. Then she told me the truth: that she was seeing a psychiatrist, two plumbers, and a bartender.
I went to a fight the other night, and a hockey game broke out.
Finishing college.I`m studying Electrical Engineering and I love it.I get to see lots of cool stuff, and how everything with electricity, from the wall socket to antennas, work.
I guess the hard stuff for some is finding something you are really interested in.I`ve seen a lot of friends go through college studying stuff they`re not even remotely interested in just to please their parents.
DruSam, do not waste your affirmaive action by dropping out of school ;-). j/k dude, stay in school though.
