Hi everyone

I have a question relating to wordpress; is it worthwhile setting up a blog to make money using the free version of wordpress as opposed to the paid version?

I have read multiple articles, to name a couple – kirsty mckubbins guide to affiliate marketing on her blog and blogging to the bank. Both of them advise going for the paid version

Now – whether that’s a thinly veiled hosting affiliate marketing advertisement I don’t know but lots of ppl keep going on about it – aaron wall from seobook, a guy called yoast talks at length abt it

I have heard that the advantages of using the paid version r in the addons that u can use like anti spam and various others

So I’m sure it may be the best option for pros and serious bloggers that want to invest a lot into this

But how feasible is it to set up a free wordpress blog to do the same thing on – is it worth the effort or just really difficult?
