I used LoopNet - Office, Industrial, Retail Property for Lease for finding space. Was able to find decent private one room deals pretty cheap (Shared bathroom). Most go by SF per Year pricing; do the math. You can find something for $150-300 a month depending on area.
I'm seriously thinking about renting an office too, but not for the same reasons as you... I can see myself slowly deteriorating since I started working from home. I think that having to leave the house every day to "go to work" is a good thing. Working from home makes you lazy, unsociable, plus you don't shave, don't feel the need to buy new clothes and become an overall dirtbag. (sure there are exceptions, but I find that 90% I know that work from home are in the same situation)
