I have had most of the games on and have tried to give soccer a chance here but I could not agree more with dchuk. How does some miss a fucking huge ass net with a big ass ball so often?

Also, does anyone else feel like they can beat the shit out of any soccer player?
 
I stated in the opening post that this general chat thread would be made so that you wouldn't see a million and one threads for each and every World Cup match that was on to keep the soccer haters happy. This is just one main thread for us all and people like you and dchuk are still coming in pissing all over it. Seriously, no one gives a shit what you think about the sport.:smokin:

and I stated in my post that I did not read a single word of this thread and specifically came in to piss on it.

Anelka had an argument with the manager and was sent home. The French players refused to train and a few may not be playing in the next game which will be played tonight (past midnight here in the UK). If Mexico and Uruguay draw then France are out regardless of their last game. If Mexico or Uruguay lose then France will need to win by a fair few goals. At this time, they are -4 in goal difference to Mexico and -5 to Uruguay. They're playing the hosts South Africa as well so it won't be easy to get the big win.

This is how important top spot is for England and the USA...

(a) The winner of the group will face Ghana and then Uruguay.
(b) The runner up of the group will face Germany and then Argentina.

That is of course if Germany beat Ghana tonight. Definitely want to go route (a), as other than the easier matches this will equate to a good piss up on Saturday night.
 
yup USA is in. personally i think england's players should just go and kill themselves. they are playing with absolutely no passion at all.

But seriously. They can beat Serbia. They've done it before.
 
England shouldn't be celebrating like they won the WC. They should've scored AT LEAST 2 more. It's going to be Germany next, they will not lose against Ghana.
