yet another school shooting

Tell that to the Dead Kids' Parents

I probably would if they're advocating gun control. Have you had friends and family murdered? I have and no it's not fun, but you don't see me advocating for stricter gun laws.

They are going to do the same shit like they did with cell phone's while driving, fine you, rape you, but they will try to find ways to make money while doing so, profits.

I was talking about the over 40k dead annually because of it.

Did you read what he posted? The CDC estimates 46k dead annually due to second hand smoke.

There are many simply preventable causes of death out there which get .0001% of the attention that something like a school shooting does.

If you were to measure the impact on a society these death causes have, it would be very difficult to argue that guns or assault weapons are such an enormous concern that legislation must be made immediately to deal with the problem.

What is more frightening to you - a cigarette, or a gun? The answer is gun. Guns are a lot better at marketing the intended feeling of fear to everyone around it, despite killing fewer. Cigarettes have much more friendly marketing despite being far more deadly (robbing you of your wealth and your life).

It's so interesting to see this kind of thing play out. Human beings flip out over an issue relatively small simply because design and perception are so powerful in influencing the human mind.

10K? Nice try Faggot. Might want to triple that.

Oh you are counting gun suicides in 'unnecessary deaths'? Think about that one for a second there skippy.

Thanks for the compliment. Faggot is the highest of praise on the Gay Webmaster Forum. Hug it out bro.

Actually, the reason these school shootings are so scary is because of the mentality the the people who commitment must have.

And the scary thing is that mentality is being breed and pushed by the system.

People get emotional because if this. Not because of the deaths themselves.

And it is good they get disconcerted because of this. Now if only people would actually try to get to the root of the problem, instead of accepting freedom limiting band-aids.

Funny enough most of the issues now a days is because of OVER legislation (i.e. too much regulation). Of course, I have a hunch that 'legislators' (i.e. those who are paid to write legislation) aren't going to be firing themselves or cutting back on their work load as the solution. Nope. The solution to an over regulated society that restricts individuals until they blow? More regulation.
