Just got my wisdom tooth pulled

So, yesterday I got my wisdom tooth pulled. The surgeon gave me Penecillin and Vicodin but I don't take the Vicodin because it's bad for you.

My mouth feels pain and is very swollen from the operation.. ugh. :uhoh2:

I can't even eat anything except..right now, I am only able to drink fruit shakes and had some Campells cheese soup yesterday.

Anyways, does anyone have any recommendations for pain medication that isn't strong? Maybe like... some kind of herbal stuff? I looked online and all I could really find is fish oil but I don't like fish oil much.

Fucking pussy. Wisdom "tooth"? I had all 4 impacted wisdom teeth pulled in one sitting, so much Novocaine I couldn't feel my head. Dentist said "this isn't going to hurt, but you're going to feel a whole lot of pressure" as he braced himself against the chair and proceeded to pry the teeth out. Ate a few Demerol. 48 hours later everything was fine. Gave the rest of the Demerol to a friend who broke her leg. Take the damn drugs you faggot and save yourself the hippy bullshit.

Similar story except I kept all the Demerol, started to get addicted and begged the dentist for more.

Luckily for me, he said no.
 
I was sedated for mine. It was freaky as hell. One minute your there, the next I knew I was waking up in another room and I couldn't talk. Crushed those Vicodin for a few days, awwww yeah!
 
I have a feeling that some of the replies in here would be different if everyone was aware that the OP is female.
 
I had 4 of mine pulled when I was early 20's, no fucking joke man, hurt like hell, but I took Advil , VICODIN made me puick
 
pussy! When I got mine taken out I had to get something like 10 shots into my gums. I didn't get put to sleep or anything like most people nowadays. I was awake the entire time. And after it was all done I never got any pain pills or anything. Walk it off pussy!

My best friend is a dentist and removed mine because I wanted to get Invisalign.

If you are ever planning on getting any cosmetic work done on your teeth you should have them removed so they don't start moving around at a later date and don't rape your 30k crown job.

Not all dentists are created equal. When I was a kid they told me my wisdom teeth were so fucked there would be a 50% chance of causing permanent nerve damage, my friend told me it was closer to 0.01%.
 
I had all four pulled in my 20's while I was awake. Tons of needles, and I was told I could only take Ibuprofen... Hurt for 2 days and was all good thereafter.

My wife had hers done in BKK, says she had 1 shot on each side and all 4 of them slid out with no pain, ever, at all. -And that's how it usually is in countries with REAL medicine, not in this shithole.
