Regardless of your race, you should be proud of who you've become and how far you've gotten. Now give back and try to change the lives of other children/people that are in the same shoes you were in. Try changing a life, it feels good.

I think when you look across the world and realize that any place you find blacks you will find high crime and high poverty, then you have to ask some hard questions. You can only blame whitey for so much, eventually you have to take a look in the mirror.

These two nations are right next to each other, so why aren't the crime levels and such more similar? Why are people in Gabon also earning three times as much as those in much of eastern Europe?

One wiki says 75% one says 50%. That being said, I am pretty fucking amazed that even with 50% the crime rate isn't thru the roof. Regardless, my point remains that, save a few places, crime and poverty do in fact follow blacks anywhere they live.

Yes, there are two different Congos, but I wasn't using the Republic of the Congo as an example of a "high" income place. (There are actually over a dozen or so countries in Africa with higher average incomes, depending on which list you look at.)

I was using it as a contrast with Gabon. Since they are right next to each other, then likely the people in each place have very similar genetics. The two Congos are also right next to each other, so this further illustrates my point.

Gabon = $15,000
Republic of the Congo = $4,400
Democratic Republic of the Congo = $300

The obvious logical conclusion is that external factors, such as governments or warlords, contribute way more to the greatly differing income levels, than do the small genetic differences between the people in the 3 nations, no?

Regardless, my point remains that, save a few places, crime and poverty do in fact follow blacks anywhere they live.

I doubt you've spent much time in your life trying to figure out just how many of these "few" places there are. Here's a couple more :

Barbados, $22,000 , population 285,000

Botswana, $16,000, population 2,000,000


Russia has lots of oil, nuclear weapons, etc., but for whatever reason the blacks in Botswana have roughly the same income as Russians.

I'm not trying to get into a racism argument with WF's neo-nazis (who I'd love to headbutt for making us ALL look like racist idiots), but I've been to South Holland, Dolton, and other towns in South Chicago. It's very clear that where people start generally dictates where they'll end up, not their race.

Give African Americans a few generations and you'll see the wealth equality level out, when you still have people alive that have experienced Jim Crow and segregation first hand (people in their sixties that still remember MLK & Malcolm X) you can't expect everything to be perfect in only a few years.

I have to admit though, I always thought Dresden14 was being more of a troll than anything else... not so sure about that anymore. Still, he does provide some mildly entertaining gems every now and then. A++ would read again
