Worth $20 Billion but is a cheap bastard

As someone who did once work hard for my money I do leave a tip, fortunately I know what it's like to put in a days hard graft. But I don't just tip for any service it has to be good, and I actually have to see some effort being put in.

I tip, but mainly because I like having regular places, and getting treated good at them. For example, I always goto the same place to get my haircut. Since I tip decently, I probably get taken care of quite a bit better than if I didn't tip at all. Same with a couple restaurants we're regulars at.

Does piss me off a bit though. When I was busting my ass 16 hours a day, shoveling rocks & dirt, planting trees, and laying sod, for someone's new house in the sub-burbs, I never got any tips. I think we got lemonade once or two, but that was it. And I'm expected to give someone a tip because they brought me a drink and a plate of food? We took the person's chunk of clay, and turned it into a beautiful lawn with nice trees, shrub beds, etc. Little more difficult than giving someone a plate of food.

i only tip if the service was good or if i go to the place regularly. i have no qualms leaving jack squat on the table if you're a bitch.

Every restaurant I've eaten in in Italy says "service included" on the bill.

I tip a lot more since having a kid. It's amazing how unbothered waiters are by your kids making a mess / running around if you regularly tip 20-25% of the bill, and eat at 6pm before "peak time" so you don't piss other diners off.

Pass this along to CNN or any of the major news sources here in the US. This should be ran at the top of the hour and half hour. How dare he not tip!!!
