Alright. So there is no reason to IM, email or PM me about the changes. I own the fucking forum you idiots! I know there are changes being made because I am doing it. Jesus..
Anyway, here's the deal. (notice how the changes were made first this time and weren't just announced and then done months later. See, I'm learning!)
Change #1:
I added the "And Now For Something Completely Different" section so we can merge all of the boob pics, youtube video links (you can embed them right into the forum now, just uncheck the link parsing option underneath the post window for now until we fix it), and everything that has to do with entertainment, humor and fun times.
Why you ask? Well, because it clogs up StS and other sections, and it makes a lot more sense to have one section where you can blow off some steam before you get into a drama filled posting battle, or just to laugh for a bit for the sake of taking a break from checking your stats and working.
Change #2:
I changed the forum and thread counts so that it shows 50 posts per thread per page, and 50 threads per page per section too. Due to the awesome popularity here, and the fact that threads that may have some value get buried pretty quickly, now for those who don't use the "new posts" option, can see more threads. This should also cause less pageviews here, which have already exceeded the 8,000,000 mark. Good for our servers so I don't care what you think.
I also made some changes on the amount of views and posts for a thread to be "hot", because the old settings were too lax.
Change #3:
It hasn't been made public just yet, but it exists. I know I said I wouldn't do it, but I think it's necessary at the moment. There WILL be a paid section packed with content, ideas, keywords, software, niches, etc. The subscription rate will be between $35-$55 per month. Haven't decided on a set price just yet. We'll either be using PayPal or Google Checkout.
Few reasons for this. First, the less advertisers we accept, the more control we have over them. For example, if a shitty affiliate network wants to advertise here, and we are in need of the cash, then we have to take them on, unfortunately. But, we haven't let it get to that yet, which is good. Second reason, people have been bugging me for a while to make a private area where more advanced ideas and information can be shared without newbies, lurkers, or members who don't do shit here can see. I agree with them. The member loyalty section is being merged with the paid area. So that loyal members will get access to it for free, but everyone else will have to pay. Last reason. Because I feel like it bitch. So deal with it. All of the members will still be REQUIRED to participate in the regular more public sections, but for those really good ideas and resources, paid is where it will be at sucka!

More mods. Why do we need them? Because this place is getting bigger and tougher to manage with the small group of staffers we have now. Remember, we are all volunteers too, and all cash made by WF goes right back into WF, so it's not like this is some super fun way to spend our days banning, modding, and helping people, all the while still packing it with content. It's a pain in the ass. Trust me. You will never know what a pain in the ass is until either A. you have kids (which I don't thankfully) or B. you own a webmaster forum that gets more traffic than Sex.com and SearchEngineWatch.com combined. Bleh.
There you have it. Changes that have already been made, and aren't "coming soon"... now... if we can just figure out how to get those damn sections on top running properly... or maybe I'll just leave them blank to annoy you fuckers. Bwahahahaha.

Kevin is making us a newsletter template so we can start spamming you guys with ebooks and boob pics.
We're also adding some new sections to give them a trial run and see how they do.
1- Adult affiliates/webmasters
2- Gambling affiliates/webmasters
3- Affiliate Managers inhouse/outsourced (pw protected and/or private)
All of these sections, new and old will most likely end up being merged together so they fit into their respective vertical when the rest of the changes actually happen. (I think the last poll taken predicted a launch date in 2010).
