Yee-haw, mother fucker! Hope you guys enjoyed that, because it probably cost $80k of your hard earned tax dollars to take out one guy and a flag.

heh, laugh or cry? What do you do?

Well the american gov. seems to have a keen interest in the middle east, and turkey not being too friendly in the area seems to be balls deep in other issues. I mean you could pull out and we could all watch them kill each other.

But Syrian Oil is too good to pass up on... :/ The way of the world my friend.

Watch this:

TL;DW:

  • You can't kill an ideology with bullets.
  • ISIS openly admits it's strategy is to either drive Western forces out of the Middle East through military aggression, or BANKRUPT Western countries till the point they're too broke to fight.
  • ISIS, despite being barbaric, isn't stupid. It knows what its doing.
  • There's no way Western countries can win this shit short of nuking the entire middle east.
  • Western governments are gullible retards who are fighting people they don't understand.

All I know is if the silent majority on all sides ever stood up at the same time, this entire bullshit war on terror would end almost over night. No more ISIS, no more US military complex, nothing.

But nope. The 99.5% of us are just going to stay in the shadows, and watch the events unfold with hopes it doesn't come to our doorstep, even though we all know full well it's not right or just. And that's the saddest part about this whole ordeal.

At what point does the pendulum begin swinging the other way? Does it ever in this case?

Syria doesn't have enough oil to make this worth while. This is a pre-cursor to Iran.

Nope but natural gas, well that's a different story.

In July 2011 Iran, Iraq and Syria said they planned to sign a contract potentially worth around $6bn to construct a pipeline running from South Pars towards Europe, via these countries and Lebanon and then under the Mediterranean to a European country, with a refinery and related infrastructure in Damascus.[1][5][6][7] In November 2012 the United States dismissed reports that construction had begun on the pipeline, saying that this had been claimed repeatedly and that "it never seems to materialize."[8]

Syria's rationale for rejecting the Qatar proposal was said to be "to protect the interests of [its] Russian ally, which is Europe's top supplier of natural gas."[12]

Lots of nice catch phrases in there Matt, but you're talking lots and not saying anything.

WTF do you mean stand up? Stand up how?

Unless you want to quantify "standing up", you're talking out your ass.

Here's a nice little video for you to watch while you think that through...

The american military complex has been making money off these wars in the early 90's why would anyone want to "stop" terrorism?

There is enough oil in erbil and kerkuk to make one nation a lot richer. It may not be worth the time of the US but it sure as hell in the interest of the nations in this region.

I love how the kurds are being portrayed as victims. Most support the PKK and YPG both of which are terrorist organizations which are recognized by the EU but not the US for some reason. Supplying them guns is only going to make matters worse, as most will remember that supplying the taliban wasn't exactly a class act. These people do not think like we do, so i say let them kill each other and let the victor declare whatever country they want to. Democracy does more harm than good in this corner of the world!

Tell me then, what's the end game here? We raise the US flag in Tehran with smoke billowing out of the buildings while yelling "Murica #1!", or what?

If this doesn't feel like a world war now, it's going to within 2 or 3 years.

That was mostly likely a 250 or 500lb JDAM.

Those only cost like $20k.

Bye Felica!

People have been claiming this or that conflict would be the start of world war 3 ever since the end of WW2. It just never seems to actually happen.

Let me tell you how this is going to play out. We're going to keep bombing them for a while, because we have more money and bombs than they have people. Syria and vast swaths of Iraq will be left with even more ruins and poverty than they have now. The end.

little did they know... it DOESNT get better. Skip to 8 minutes.

Well WW3 is going to happen some day - the planet is overloaded with people and it has to be reduced soon - I am sure Bildebergs will handle that somehow.
Anyway this time I am supporter of US bombing those idiots - its real evil coming out of Islamic state.
