This is just sad -

IMHO that policy is taken a little to far sometimes. It's one thing when you're revealing competitive info. It's another if you show everyone something that could be found by going to google, typing in Acai and clicking on the first paid result.

But, whatever...I never post anything even remotely questionable to avoid being crucified.

Agreed! Plus, don't most of you have scrapers constantly mining for ads/LP's of all the campaigns avail anyway? So who cares anymore..

I know I sure as hell wouldn't care if the rule was relaxed or removed altogether.

yeah it gets a little old seeing hall monitor non-mods try to call people out on this rule, like a guy being afraid to post a link to snopes as a result

Outing most landing pages is fine. Just don't out unique landing pages that are profiting because nobody else has thought of the idea. Just use common sense. If something is getting media attention you aren't doing any harm by posting about it on WF.

I assumed it had more to do with not spoon-feeding all of the new people that must browse in here every day. No big secrets would be revealed or anything, but it might encourage a lot those that are better off trying to do something else.

The site shows the value of a premium domain property. It reminds me of a thread someone started yesterday and someone said "why would anyone spend $100,000 for a [stupid] domain?!" - I LOL'ed all day at that.

These assets are still so little understood - fortunately.

Rick Schwartz had an interesting post the other day about how $1 M domains are going for $10K today so scoop them up!

I'll bet there are probably legions of people saying "why would anyone spend $10k for a domain"?

Someone please show me any other asset these days that can yield a %500 to %1000 return??

Yung Ye was the Keyser Söze......lol

one man show/$19M in profits off of $20M a year/public capital market exit/never to be heard from again.......

I know this site is doing well, owned by a big company, etc... I still agree, it is sad to see it in this state.
