Let's build a massive list of successful entrepreneurs, of any industry, living or deceased.
Include a bit to describe who they are, and the character traits you believe made them a successful entrepreneur.
Here are some of mine..
Michael Moritz - the leading man behind Sequoia Capital; helped fund Google, Yahoo, PayPal, Cisco, and dozens of others. Running a large scale campaign takes balls, but putting down millions of dollars into a startup catering to a market that doesn't even exist - that takes balls of steel.
Elon Musk - An engineer that's also good at business. Founder of PayPal, SpaceX, Tesla Motors. He has an uncanny ability to run multiple leading-edge companies simultaneously, and still has time for hands-on engineering.
Cornelius Vanderbilt - adjusted for inflation, his net worth topped $160 billion, making him the wealthiest man in history second only to Rockefeller. Ruthless to his enemies, he'd undercut and outmaneuver leaving no opportunity to let them recovery. One of his greatest traits was in predicting market demand long before his competitors.
