I just bought two of these. Amazon.com: Dell S2209W 22-Inch LCD Widescreen Monitor: Computer & Accessories

They're still on the way, so I'll let you know if they're any good once they arrive. For the price, I think they'll kick ass.
For that price you can't lose. My Dell 22"s are fine.

The color is better on my 24" ultrasharp though and I want to get another of them. But I want the older version - these new ones look like they have much wider frames on them which sucks IMO.

Neck is fine. It isn't that bad actually. And I tell you I cant go back to
1 or 2. The setup like it is now you can have your FTP up on one, Browser on one, Designing a site on one, Gtalk on one, Music on other etc. But when you can build a site , upload it and see the changes needing to be done/ made without alt-tabbing you get a little more productive. Everything is right there in front of you.

Also have you ever tried to trade on one pc? sucks bad. So with 7 monitors it is also very easy to have one chart per monitor, and the quotes , im's and everything going to a monitor :) This way if you trade setups you dont have to open and close charts or look at little ass charts and hope you catch them.

I just ordered two of these Dell E2310H 20? Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor and a dual montier stand to support them. I can't wait until it all gets here I have been working off my laptop for to long now.

As you guys mention the constant tabbing and having so many windows open is killing me. I hope two will work when they get here but having a central focus monitor might be nice. Ill see how I do with 2 as I am also working with limited desk space.

Btw guys good tip here... Amex has $200 dell gift certs for 20k points. So I ended up paying $10 for my two moniters and a stand from dell. If I need a 3rd it will be free also.

20.1" WS main, 17" on top on 2nd interface, 19" on the side attached to separate PC.

The 20.1" is my work screen.
17" is my IM/IRC/Winamp screen.
19" is for playing more EverQuest.

I plan to upgrade to 24" main screen when I can, but anything bigger than that would have to be pushed back away from me or it'd just be wasted pixels.

Offtopic.. But how is EQ now? I played from Kunark release to a few months after LDON. No game I've played since has ever lived up the the EQ glorydays.

I play for the people. The game engine is clunky and dated. They try to offset that with pretty zones and mobs, but you can tell the game engine is old.

They also implemented "mercenaries" last year, which makes soloing for most classes a lot easier. I did the progression with my boxed group and a couple mercs for the last expansion and I had fun.

From what I understand, there's no other MMO that compares to the challenge of raids in EQ, though. I've tried WoW and a few other games, but could never really get into them. I'm looking forward to trying STO and TOR.

Lol. I still have my eq accts from the good ole days. I felt like once they created the bazaar and got rid of corpse runs and the EC tunnel the game took a turn to cater to young people instead of the older gamers. And with the tunnel or Gfay gone the interaction went down a little.

I still login every once in a while, played on Xev and The Nameless, once they merged Xev I moved all the other toons to the Nameless.
