Fuck John Volk

VOLK MADE MONIES. DAT WAZ 1 YR AGO. NOW HE BLOGS.

CIRCA MAKES MONIES NOW.

IS CIRCA RL?

In reality, I actually stopped posting updates about income (new record day, goal meter, etc) because I had family and family friends coming on to my blog and then acting different to me. I've tried hard to make that part of my life hidden from most family friends, etc.

Therefore I am a lot more vague in sharing that type of info on the blog as of late.

The truth is that 2009 was the best year I have ever had, both in profit and income, I donated over double that of 2008, and 2010 looks to be promising of beating 2009 - good things in the pipeline. Just to clarify, very little income is from blogging.

I enjoy blogging and now that I have leveraged my time well (employee = full x% owner) as well as making strategic partnerships to the point where I can spend some time blogging and spending some time doing something that might not make a killing.

As for the content, no post can apply to every single person. So some days might include content for newbies and some might for more experienced people.

What annoys me most is that I do all this advertising and still only have half the fan base of ppc.bz. I'm thinking about putting on 150 lbs so I can lose it all & have an awesome story like Shoemoney.
Double your ads rates and halve your placements. The advertising is really over the top IMO. It takes away from the content.

Other than that, cute wife, decent blog, you seem like a good dude.

JFYI, it is principles, not principals (about page)

Just another shoe type ... going to follow a similar path:
make big bucks (lie about a lot of it) - expose it to the world on a blog - cash out by leveraging the branding of the blog to sell a "system" - lose rep over the scam - become old news

No wonder you have neg rep.

You don't sell a system, lose rep in the industry, and become old news if you know how to persuade and sell properly. Shoe understands the principles needed to make the sheep who bought his products stay, learn, and have a sense of accomplishment (even if they never make a dime).

Basic NLP and persuasion at it's best.

Shoe, I know, made big money with ringtones and he's a smart guy. I'm sure he's still doing alright. As for Jonathon I don't know him, but regardless hopefully he understands pleasing the MMO market is a thousand times harder than pleasing any other market.

People who do well in the MMO market - whether Shoe, Frank Kern, Mike Fil-Simms, etc - love the niche. They honestly do. And although they all sell shit, shit that is probably incredibly basic and full of fail, they do it because they enjoy it. Not because it's easy.

So much more money can be made through other niches, where those who buy aren't relying on your product, or the product you're promoting, to change their financial life forever. Think about it.

Anyway good luck bros,

Yep, you are spot on here. Marketing to marketers is pretty tough, especially in an industry where we are trained to not only spot bullshit but be experts in creating it ourselves.

I HATE seeing people in my industry scam their peers, which is what's happening with 99% of all information products out there.

Regardless, @tjewsky, I doubt jeremy is going to become "old news" just because you said so :P
