In that article it does say that the "president of the business-backed Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation" disagrees with the Treasurer.

Also, according to Scott "socialist?" Brown and Mitt "bleeding heart?" Romney the financial problems were because Governor Patrick eliminated a cost and quality commission, not because of the actual health care system as it was when they passed it.

Not the only thing that was changed in MA. once the libs got a hold of the legislation, they screwed the whole thing up (to be expected though).

Nevermind the bullshit regarding the healthcare bill, the fact that congress is attempting to cover their ass by using esoteric parliamentary procedures to "not actually vote on it".

My mistake. I thought the whole healthcare debate going on in the US was about providing universal coverage to everyone? Why are most Americans on wickedfire so adamantly opposed to helping your fellow countrymen in their time of need? And on yet another point, why do you think that private companies would be screwing you any less than a government run healthcare system? Hell, I sure know I wouldn't want a company that is set up to profit choosing the "right" (read: cheapest) healthcare for me.

Moodys issued a statement this week warning of the possibility of the US losing their credit rating. They also warned of possilbe social unrest in the future. Yea lets spend some more money that we don't have! You do understand what social unrest is right?

My wife was flipping channels tonight and we stopped on Wanda Sykes show for 20 seconds to see what kind of crap she had to say and first thing she says is how people don't like this bill b/c they are racist. No joke. It was not part of a bit. It was her straight up saying it and believing it. And people actually cheered.

Like we were racist when all the other white presidents tried to pass this crap already 3-4 times...

This is another example of a failure to understand the paradigm. You claim to want to use the internet as a medium for sales and networking, but then backhand it as a fantasy space where reality does not exist or that you only come online to troll, then go back to the real world where presumably you get more, and/or have more value as a person.

You would do well to watch Gary Vaynerchuk's video from the Web 2.0 Expo about being sincere, creating value and putting your market first.

In other words, if this isn't your market why are you here, and if it is, why do you crap in your own backyard?

...That was actually a good video. To be honest, I was just being a smart ass. I really don't hold any ill will towards you.

My point is simply if you care about your own personal brand you would yourself think twice about the idiot company that you keep.

Basically what I'm saying is that for the most part those of us with even a farthing of intellectual curiosity start drooling at the keyword after about 5 minutes of these political conversations that generally boil down to

"Obama's the anti christ"
"It's the socialists' fault"
"The gays did it"
"The black welfare mothers did it"
"Europeans are pussies"

That's it really. Having said that, I do get a tickle out of being flamed by cognitive peons who foam at the mouth at some of my comments whereas I really do honestly turn my attention to important matters when I hit the log off button.
