Anyone here in/ever in a frat?

I remember last year one frat at my school were pouring hot oil on the pledges and 3-4 of them got 3rd degree burns on their balls.

A few of the 'cooks' were charged with something and it ended up just disappearing a few weeks later. Sounds like we're missing out on some good times.

To speak on the other side of the argument...

I find it hilarious that most of the guys defending frats are pretty much admitting to not being able to get laid or do much of anything on their own.

There was hazing in my day (pledged in 88), but it wasn't a defining part of things.

I had a great experience overall, made lifelong friends, and learned more there than I did in the classroom.

Enjoyed it so much I stuck around college for a 5th year.

I always called Pikes "Pikas" to piss them off in intramural sports when we were against them. They didn't appreciate a pokemon comparison for some reason.
 
I was in a frat in college. While I and my fellow members were not subjected to any creepy hazing...a guy from another on-campus frat died when he was forced to get drunk, and steal something from a questionable dude.

Unfortunately, it was the last decision he ever made. It was very sad.
