Hardly impossible. Regarding the time, I could say anytime, it would be right somewhere in the world. But the odds are even worse then 1 in 21.5
If you consider the 1000s of lunies out there, the odds are more like 25:1.
The only reason the loonies don't predit as often is because they aren't organized to spread their crazy predictions out over time. They tend to group them into well known lunny days, like December somethign 2012.
california is known for its earth quakes and people have been "predicting" them since I dont know when. it was just a matter of time before some nut just happened to "get it right".
House is a bit close to the road? At least he can rebuild it a few feet back and get a nice garden now.
You must also consider this is Mexico? so all the houses are built shit anyway, looks like a lack of supports where the garage is.. was

Had just gotten back from surfing and was shaking a coconut and then I started to feel vertigo. Wasn't sure what was going on for a second until I figured it out.

I'm in La Jolla too. I was on the top floor of our 3 story house that sits on the edge of a canyon, It was rockin'. Felt like it was never going to stop. Our chandelier was swaying back and forth like crazy.

Predicting a quake along the san andrea fault line based on statistics is like predicting how long before the brand new 7/11 gets held up in the bad part of town.
Don't take this too seriously but this is a good reminder that you Californians are lemmings. Your whole life you've been told that the Big One is probably going to hit one day and you must pretend every day it's not going to happen.
I think i understand the mindset. It's the whole "well, it cant' be too bad if everyone else is doing it" mindset. Millions live in CA so it's ok.. if you go down so will they.
So one day when your legs are crushed beneath your house and you're screaming "Why oh Why is this happening to me" maybe you'll remember the warnings been out for decades.
It's the same mindset for why so many cities in the world are built next to active volcanoes. It's our built in lemming instinct I suppose.

There has been someone on GLP posting every week for the past 10 years that cali will be hit by a earthquake in the next week, so no , no supernatural there.
That guy EAT's been making predictions on GLP for years, this is the first one that's even close to true. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
