How the heck does this stuff make money?

This. I learned a shitload in this thread which would not have happened if Refrozen didn't ask a question.
Same here. Always figured it was a bot of some type, but never really thought about it in any detail...especially not registering the domains out from under the people doing it, and generating revenue off parked pages. Good shit.

Well you could start by learning from the mistakes of others, that way you don't make the same mistake(s). Saves a lot of time, and also can make you right "most" of the time.

Why spend your entire life doing all the wrong things, just to achieve one right thing? Better to optimize your time. There's a saying which goes like this:

"A clever person solves a problem, a wise person avoids it."

That's how else people learn.

And the problem that the clever person solves must be a problem in the first place, no?

Regardless, Eli for the win. /thread.

Great discussion here kids. I'm convinced Mr. "omg you've been here 3 years" and guerilla have it right... Eli's answer is incredibly interesting though... time to do some thinking.

which is funny, because I'm certain I've read that domain kiting post in the past... since I've read every page of bluehatseo.com...

I assure you its not a bot "testing and learning forms" if it drops a link successfully that ip won't be back with legit sites and only using the code that worked on your form (the bbcode or html). It'll just keep coming back with the same comment and different jibberish domains. Form spamming is incredibly inefficient as it is, you have to build your success list as you go (scan the result page for your link). To give it it's own testing phase and going back is a ridiculous notion if you've ever done it. Likewise when you test for autoapprove you use a particular generic phrase not link codes. Plus form spam bots skip over wordpress, forum posts and search boxes anyways. For obvious reasons those are done separately.

I was trying to avoid addressing apex's rude explanation but if he really thinks its a bot trying to figure out how to fill out a blog comment as if the bot writer couldn't identify and know how to fill one out already... lol bots, bots lol

Problems are constantly being presented in life. Now what some people will do, is they will sit there making so many mistakes just trying to solve that problem in the first place. Wise people, however, would simply avoid it. How do they avoid it? By recognizing it in the first place, and learning from the mistakes of others.

Problems are also presented in other formats, such as challenges...which means they are not always presented as a simple conflict.

#1: Is that all you demand? The value of a sandwhich is quite low, at least ask for something like an 8 course meal, to make it worthwhile.

#2: Is that the only thing which women seem to be able to make? You call them women? GET REAL!!! REAL WOMEN can COOK! Yes, that's right, I said COOK. So enough of this sandwhich BS, what kind of food do you REALLY want served? Want some steak and garlic shrimp, served with a side of steamy asparagus covered in Hollondaise sauce? (And a glass of HOME MADE WINE?)

Want some cheesy lasagna with Caesar salad, and garlic bread?

Want some juicy roast beef, sided with creamy garlic mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a side salad? And yet again, throw in some home made red wine!

Unlike those bozo's, my Mama taught me to cook. So don't go around expecting me to simply throw some sauce on some bread and hand it to you. That's too lame. I'm not a LAZY cook. Ask for something real! (And EXPECT desert too!)

#3: Unless of course you've been sheltered so long from real food, that you need me to remind you what REAL food tastes like ;) :love-smiley-087:

WTF woman. You're on the computer typing??? Get back in the kitchen and finish cooking (an 8 course meal. ) :zzwhip:

when someone gets told by guys like apex, bofu, eli, the person best just sit down and listen. they will explain. like the teacher disciplined the student. instead of criticizing their comments, be glad these guys who are probably among the top5 seos in the western world, are even presenting their techniques in front of us.

You didn't tell me what you wanted. :xomunch: Gotta know what you want. No one likes a man who is indecisive and leaves all the decisions up to the woman! Don't be lip whipped now!:nopenope:

Alright so Eli asked me to chime in here right quick and give my 2 cents... so here it goes *turns on dance music*

DVAKgB <a href="http://qsvipozuiftn.com/" rel="nofollow">qsvipozuiftn</a>, qqdziptcoiab, [link=http://rnndphjobppb.com/]rnndphjobppb[/link], http://zcvltrskknoi.com/

Hint: It hyperlinked the last URL.

OK, so starting off you have the theory which Eli talked about. First of all, that's fucking awesome and I really never thought of the registering it after and passing. That's epic. So now that's one thing you can do, or you can do that in addition to the thing I'm going to say.

Here's what I always saw with this. Basically think about how higher end scraper/spammers work. You have one crawler that takes care of finding targets. You have another that crawls the page and then footprints, and marks off what is what. Then you have a third that actually goes in and drops links. Most people who are testing this don't give a fuck what it's on, and they usually combine all 3 into one specific string to test it out. If you notice the comment hits all 3 major URL-enabling methods, bbcode, html, and straight up URL itself (which it shows above gets hyperlinked sometimes).

They'll hit as many targets as possible just to find out what gets accepted and auto-approved and what doesn't. Then they do what I do which is blast every fucking thing at once if they wanna rank somewhere quickly. So they hit this with footprints, they find datasources and just like a mailer - test the efficiency. That's why the strings vary and change up. They'll blast a list of 5K with one jumbled string, then another 5K with another, etc. Wait 2-3 weeks, go back and check backlinks to the page - or index'd pages with the jumbled string. This assures two things - success in posting the link, and Google will index the page as well.

Here's an example...

Aldones himself results of using phendimetrazine been some trimox and stately tetracycline ointment for dogs winked into caution sarafem awake for dose it mescaline meet with hydrochlorothiazide microzide hovels and diethylpropion effects side dove into accolate drug sickness that alopecia areata temovate ight after zanaflex snort place and atarax precautions telltale signature lortab and pregnancy hey often antivert grim and metoprolol vs metoprolol tartrate tabs just can phendimetrazine tartrate chemical properties was day ultravate use in pregnancy ower were losartan therapeutic interchange the younger description of lescol xl spoke beneath prescription drug clopidogrel something vitally success rates with clomiphene citrate the stables is prozac a ssri or maoi yannis realized zestril dosage electrical power skelaxin and vicodin his years drug interactions with clonazepam proper response avapro libido dreamy calm remeron augmented aimon never prinivil zestril what for needless errand fluconazole treatment not one accolate best prices forum single moon dilantin and brain surgery her forearm tazorac without prescription people paid ibuprofen versus naproxen never stumbling cyanocobalamin side effects long dialogues temovate slight rise scoplamine transderm v their dance overdose on loratadine ooking down lithium and lipitor into word renova hausverwaltung next breath singulair microzide bontril rohypnol index php any mention online premarin his own through.

Of course the products are hyperlinked, so if it does work, it's links regardless. Here's the name he put, and the URL he put:
Docapuluduqo
lord all church christian book at trylord.info

Now let's decipher this.

Name Reasoning:
Google: Results 1 - 10 of about 906 for Docapuluduqo. (0.37 seconds)
XRumer auto approve list, anyone? And indexed? Higher PR towards the front page (in theory...)? Uh huh.

Check the URL backlinks in Yahoo:
InLinks 314

Sidenote, Yahoo offers XML download of backlinks 1000 per. If you add in site:com, site:net etc we're talking 6000 uniques (at least). 6000 uniques on a 5K list blast == a shitload of links, and barely any footprints to link everything together. That's also why this is most likely XRumer blasting, XRumer can do blogs, message boards, etc. It can do anything with a form if you train it decently. That explains why all 3 (bbcode, html, straight) are all in the same comment as well.

So that's my little writeup, Jagerbombs at ASE much appreciated. Message me if you have any questions. *bows*

Thanks bofu. Awesome. Can we please take this to PM / AIM / MSN etc now and stop discussing it in a thread that's going to get indexed :)

we need threads that self destruct james bond style.

Nice write up bofu, I'm sitting with an erection in a starbucks right now because of you and eli. good job?

haha you guys are cracking me up. I give you this exact same answer but bofu rolls in and rephrases it and adds examples to make it more digestable and you guys are like OMGWTFFTW!!! heh. <3 bofu2u. It's all about reputation I suppose.
