If I bust my ass and do client work for 8 hours I can earn nearly $500 every day at $60 an hour (which is at the lower end of design/programming/writing btw). It's not hard. The problem with this crowd is that they are too used to $11 logos.

If you're skilled at what you do there's no reason why you can't consistently earn $500 every day you work just servicing the needs of this industry, without even touching a campaign, running an offer or operating your own sites.

The poll is missing "make 60K a year for yourself by not selling out, working hard and satisfying your clients".

Gotcha, I haven't really thought about going that route. I'm currently spending my time on passive income projects.
 
fatbat i live in a country where people do your work at 62 dollars per month inside my own office. let's talk? or something.
@leadsupplier if you are good at AM and would like to run campaigns as a corporation, from a location with zero interference in any way possible (legal/income) talk to me..
 
Having your own business is risky shit. I don't know your acting like your guaranteed 30k a year on your own. (Maybe you already got something stable in place?) Just because you made around that amount last year doesn't mean your guaranteed it next year.

Anyways, If you're gonna ditch the job, you have to be willing to accept this statement:

"I'm either going to end up rich ass fuck, or poor as fuck."

If you're not cool with that, then stick with the job.
 
I'd rather live on a park bench than make a dime for anyone else in some corporate shitbox, but I've been mainly self-employed for over 30 years, too- I'm totally ruined.

It's very difficult no matter HOW much they are paying you, to see how much you are making THEM. If THEY can do it...

easy... work for 60k for two years.. take 1 year off... i'm still ahead of your 30k a year over the next 3
