It could have been a couple 15,16,17 year old kids that he downloaded online without knowing and then burnt them on CD/DVD's, who knows. We'll find out.
I hope he made lots of cash as an AM because his legal team is about to wipe him out totally.
I think some of the Adam-hatred comments are overkill because he isn't charged with molesting children - just with being in possession of pictures.

doubtful. Maybe when it comes time for sentencing but not at the beginning they have to follow procedure they never know what else they might find.

Seriously though, this is indeed a pretty messed up situation, but people, you need to remember a few things here:
Even when overwhelming evidence points the finger at someone, there could be some bizarre explanation that's actually 100% true. Perhaps a housemate or some such is the responsible one. I know that I wouldn't use my own computer to look up that shit if I was going to do it (I'd also probably Guttman method delete the shit as well though)
Potentially speaking, that could actually be his own stuff from when he was a teenager. Yeah, unlikely, but possible.
When I was a kid, I took polaroids of me and my g/fs doing crazy shit. I'd hate to think that now as an adult, stuff I did legally is illegal. Would that shit get me in trouble if someone ever digs up those photos from the envelope stickytaped to the underside of my sock draw?
(nah, kidding, I've got no idea where they are now. Probably ended up being thrown out at some point)
It could have actually been an underage affiliate or friend sending him pics. Now, whilst he shouldn't have been so stupid as to store the files and not say anything, it does put a different spin on things.
Unlikely, but once again, possible. Kids take slutty pics of themselves all the time, and I'm sure the ones sent by phone often get missent thanks to predictive text not being entirely predictable.
Finally, he's not proven guilty yet. And if he isn't, a lot of the content of this thread is potentially libel. Because of that alone, I'm always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt.
Now, if he is guilty, then, he'll get his just desserts. I think execution's a bit harsh here, although I wouldn't rule out a chemical castration for this. Considering what happens to people convicted of child sex offences in prison, I think that that's going to be punishment enough.

Slightly different scenario, but always secure your wireless networks (and WEP is not secure). If some jackass is wardriving down your street and happens to download 3 gigs of CP over your connection, the FBI will be knocking on your door, not his.
