Adam Dufresne (MaxBounty AM) Charged With Child Porn

About Adam, ..... He definitely didn't seem like the type to do something like this.

There isn't a specific "type" that does this sort of thing. Unfortunately, people from all walks of life are involved in this sort of activity. Ministers, Corp execs, teachers, cops, lawyers and many seemingly normal "types" have been busted in this type of activity.

This thread inspired me to go downstairs and do a bit of cleanup on the public media computer in the pool room (usually where all the drunk people end up). Dear GOD! No child porn but some of the shit on that computer should be just as illegal. If the fbi was watching what was being downloaded on my connection they're probably scared too enter my house to arrest anyone.

I have no opinion on whether he's innocent or not (having dvd's in your possession is a bit different story since you usually know what you take the time to put on disk) but the limewire issue is a real one that all us Internet marketers need to watch for. I recently went on a torrent downloading spree on piratebay to compile a bunch of clean profile pictures of cute CLOTHED young girls to spam some social networking sites with and i really had to watch what files were included in the torrents for this very reason. None of the shit comes with previews or thumbnails and once you download it you don't know who's watching and that's all thats needed for those types of charges to be brought up. So with how much stuff we download and how often we're online browsing around it's in our best interest to really watch ourselves.

interesting point on this, i was reading somewhere that nude jail bait is actually legal, slides by as some form of art, but anything past that isn't. I've never heard of that but i guess it's possible

Actually, this brings up something that's been bugging me for a while now that I think about it.

We're all for beating down on pedophiles, and I've got nothing against that if they're convicted. But has anyone looked at a K-mart type catalogue lately? It's just hit spring here, so we're starting to see swimwear show up, and I swear, some of the poses that they put the kids in are pretty similar to some of the poses in my copies of Private.
I've noticed that clothing advertising in general is getting pretty fucked up in the age of the models (usually around 14 for adult's clothing) and the poses they put them in, and the looks they're giving the camera. Is anyone checking these damn photographers? Or the advertising people that let this shit through?
Hell, the clothing itself! I was going through a mall here the other day (finding new places to BTSpam in) and there are shops that have Playboy gear for kids that are still in single digit birthday cards! WTF!?!? There was JimBeam brand clothing for the boys... I suppose that makes it alri--NO IT FUCKING DOESN'T!!!

In the meantime, we recently had an issue with an art-photographer, Bill Henson, who had a lot of his nude work confiscated because some of his nearly 20 year old prints were of a nude kid (as in, they'd been displayed without issue for nearly 20 years now).

WTF is going on with society when we say it's ok to sexually objectify kids for commercial purposes so long as there's a few strings of clothing on them, when we have teenie-porn where the object is to have a girl that looks 14 (and possibly fitting that many guys into her simultaneously), to in every way possible sexualise these kids... but then actually bring the hammer down when someone's brain snaps and they can't quite make out that blurry line anymore.

I'm actually thinking that perhaps intense psychiatric counselling would be a better option (particularly if you see the state that most psychiatric prisons are in and you're a vindictive sort of person) given the mixed messages that our current culture seems to be sending out.

Don't get me wrong here! I'm not saying that kiddy porn and molesting kids is ok. I'm just saying that I think a lot of market forces are to blame for the apparent rise in incidences of it.

Deliguy: Whatever happened to PeerGuardian?

deliguy ... I manually grab the pictures from profiles on other social networks... just click browse and start grabbing or get that outsourced. works for me

anyways... just thought I'd let you all know, the legal age of consent in canada just a few years ago was 14, and I think its now 16... not sure on that, but I know just a few years back, can't be further then 04, you wanted to hit skittles, canada was the spot.

so yea... canada is not hunting down skittle eaters or 'SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS 18' types... If canada, with their history of 14 year old poking and now 16 year old poking, was hunting anyone for CP, it'd be REAL CP.

btw... I found his blog

Seeing as he didn't actually molest a child(lets hope) and he was just in possession of CP I do agree with you on intensive psychiatry/therapy, but of course in a locked facility. The problem with our society is we don't acknowledge obvious mental illness and don't provide the resources to help people get out of this..

Really makes me wonder if that is in line with the sick fucks that aren't spending any time behind bars except private neighborhood gates getting gwomp dumped in their bank off of whoring the miley cyrus pack that seems to be getting younger and younger(and glopped in more makeup and whore outfits progressively) by the month.

Damn guy was my AM, he seemed really kool, lol i got the "he suddenly left the company" email too.

LOL @ people acting like he might be innocent.
