How can people smart enough to learn how to make money on the Internet be stupid enough to actually listen to a word that crackpot says?

Fear sells. Considering the hard-on some people got from Ca$hvertising (a re-hash of Gary Halbert material, with some of the old school Masters like Caples thrown in), I would've thought more of you realized this. Alex Jones is a first class marketer. He embraces piracy by giving away all his DVDs and then upselling you on forum access, Alex Jones paraphernalia, and then he earns affiliate commissions on the shit he sells on his site and radio show - every hear him say use code 'alex' for your survival seed bank in his radio ads?
And too bad some of you guys didn't monetize some of your short-term campaigns on the very real media buzz that the LeBron James story brought.
Not a big Nugent fan, but it was a really good interview. I like how the Nuge emphasized that it's fundamentally American to be both suspicious of government and radically defiant.BTW just listened to Alex's latest interview with Ted Nugent...don't agree with it all of course but it was still fucking awesome![]()
Yeats said:TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
Stephen Hawking maybe. The more advanced the technology becomes, the harder it gets to make a breakthrough. You need high tech labs, and most innovators in tech get hired in under an NDA with "work for hire" on everything they produce, and all of their discoveries and patents become the intellectual property of the parent company.Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Lewis and Clark. Can you name any inventor or scientist now? The change in who we idolize is very real.
I have seen his name around the internet, but I really haven't paid much attention. I don't follow sports at all, except for watching a couple World Cup matches when USA was playing. I'll watch games (hockey, Superbowl) and enjoy them, but I don't give a damn about players or statistics. Athletic fanaticism is just about the most arbitrary and meaningless attachment you can make to society.I don't even know who Lebron James is or what is he did or whats happening to him. I guess thats why im not a poor loser though. I worry about myself winning at life, not others.
