Changes

I think there's enough demand nowadays for a subforum for software/product owners, which can cover the specifics of handling payments, customer service, product development/design, marketing, etc. I could help get it started and could watch over it a bit too if you need me to

No it won't it will just increase the number of nonsensical and two word wonder posts to build up post counts until they can start their own threads.

Are you a soccer fan? ;) ;)

1. It will stop the bots from posting threads. Most of our spam is from bots. A very few bots can pass this though.
2. Spammers will either not bother making some posts before making a thread or get banned while trying to increase post count.

Most of the people who want to increase post count before starting a service thread in BST are doing it already(just to make them "look better" when opening a BST thread) so that number will not increase because of this..However, BST threads might not need this requirement as they are paid only.

Isn't the absence of restrictions in what we can post or say that makes wickedfire great and better than the rest? You putting these 'new rules' in effect puts a nasty taste in my mouth, am I alone here?

I'll bitch slap you if you insinuate that again...lol

They will just post in other threads - seen it on other forums.

Nice idea but it has flaws. I say raise it to twenty before you can start your own thread and include a no links in posts minimum of at least 50 (obviously new traders in the BST trade would need to pm for the right to do so). Then and only then will you have half a shot at stopping all of the automated spam.

Your plan only stops them from starting threads, not fucking up everyone else's.

dear forum nazi,

just for clarification, ok for outside STS?

Only out a network if they owe you $1k+

Oust this rule right off the bat, are we here to protect networks or affiliates.

Hack, hope this is like when someone hits it so big in business that they buy a KFC to run to waste all their time at.

+1. Or at least for those who go red in the first week itself

I'm not sure how the rep formula works on vB. I'm thinking it gets more difficult to send someone in the red the longer they've been around and participated, partly due to past +rep.

For example, can you imagine what it would take to send guerilla into the red? Jon and all the mods would have have to neg him every day for weeks. Even then, they might be saying "WTF?" lol

I admit, I had no idea about this Dickroll rule and I dickrolled some punk today. He was at work..... It was funny and we all laughed.

I didn't know it was a rule but now I do and I wont ever dickroll again. I'm sorry and embarrassed.

On another note.. I'd like to see a section where people can sell sites without being charged. "Established Sites"

I think "Case Studies & Tutorials" would be more appropriate. There have been some epic posts that would fit nicely into a section like this. I could bake cup cakes and give them to all the kids that put quality into it!!! :food-smiley-002:

how about a Top Tax Bracket section? you have to submit tax returns to Jon for approval.

guaranteed it would be best section x 100....and dickrolls will not need to be monitored.
