Changes



Ok after the PM's and reading this thread. Looks like the biggest change everyone wants is deleting spam and a few new sections. Dickrolls will be allowed outside STS
 
A specific 'case study' section would be nice and as others have said would encourage participation in something that actually brings value to the forum. Keep the enlightened members section too for the studies that are worthy of it though.
 
Some people posted "website for sale threads" in STS after BST was made paid. IMO, It's neither a violation nor a best practice.. But..would be nice if this matter is cleared.

Two possibilities
1. Make a free "websites for sale" market place
2. Clearly say "If you want to sell ANY shit, open a thread in BST"
 
Currently we are using http://www.FreeCamsWorldwide.com/ for web cam chat within WF members. But every time we have to login externally and it does not keep our WF login session active for more than 30 minutes. Is there any way to incorporate it with our WF profiles directly?
 
How about a WTB section that doesn't cost money to post in?? That's the only drawback I've seen to the pay to post in SBT

Edit: wow, JCash beat me to it, but +1 for that.

I'm still supporting my software product owners forum, and am suggesting another one: an AMA forum where people can request others and those then go on to make a thread where people can ask them shit. I know most affiliates are all up tight about info but I'm sure they can all share their backstories and it could be a nice way for people to get inspiration and network with others nearby.

Just software, or a product section in general? The one we have now isn't exactly doing well so a revamp would probably help out.
 
i remember a MOD or two saying that the one click ban isn't really one click and takes some time. would it be easier to just make a "spam for deletion" section and spam threads could be moved there until someone had the time to go through and ban and delete them all? also as previously mentioned in the thread we need a thread limit for noobs or not let them create threads at all until they get more established

well the current one is more geared towards ecommerce as far as I can tell, I was thinking more software as a service/downloadable software/subscription products type stuff. There's a small group of us here who own or work on some products and I think this industry utterly lacks a community to discuss how to properly build and run a software/saas company.
 
Okay, one more thing I forgot to say: If this whole like, share, thing is here to say... God willing can we PLEASE get a dislike button?

Every noob deserves to be dickrolled. If someone falls for a dickroll it should be fair game.
Please change the rule .hack.
