It makes me sick. You have these liberal nutjobs in HIDING because they know they'll fucking lose the vote. That's outright criminal and the police should hunt them down, bring them back to the legislature, and force them to vote.

Then you have these fucking loons with signs equating Walker to Hitler, calling for his death, comparing him to a murderer like Mubarak, and bringing their students to their diseased rally. Wonder where your kids are? When they're not being brainwashed, they're helping the communists by padding their rally numbers.

I say go fucking balls out, Walker. Fire 1,000 state employees a day until these Democrat cowards come back to the legislature. Then when they come back, vote this bill in. Destroy these disgusting commie scum. Every single one of the teachers that called in sick that day or dragged their stupid students to that rally should be fired and their pension destroyed. Go balls to the wall and destroy these unions, Walker. Destroy them.

I think the dude is doing what he has to do to bring reform to the state before we are completly fucked like Illinois or California or other states. Republicans are being little bitches and are playing their cards to get votes. He promised reform, as it turns out the reform is not pretty for a lot of people thought. We've overspent too much but these ass holes don't get it. Go Walker

Wisconsin is going bankrupt.

New Governor says unions should pay the same pension/benefit contributions as the private sector and should lose their collective bargaining rights.

Democrats literally ran from the state because they would lose the vote. This is unequivocally ILLEGAL and the police are currently looking for them. When they find them, they will drag them back to the capital so they can vote.

In the meantime, Obama's OFA and the local unions are fucking lunatics, carrying signs comparing the Governor to Hitler, Mubarak, calling for his death, etc.. Truly fucking brainwashed nutjobs. I hope the Governor destroys these communist scum.

No more collective bargaining for non-fed public employees in WI in exchange for no furloughs or layoffs.

It took Governor Walker two weeks to add $140 million of new stuff he wanted into the state budget.
I must have not noticed Hellblazer's angry post about this act of communism.
 
It's always amazing that either party can summon righteous indignation over the other exploiting loopholes in legislative rules to delay or speed up bills. The truth is neither of these parties gives a flying rats ass about the legitimacy of legislature rules. They act aghast at the methods for stopping/delaying bills, but the truth is that they're the ones that wrote the fucking rulebook. They wrote the loopholes and they both use them whenever they need to and have the legislative power to do so. The Democrats will delay the bill by leaving. Both will redistrict their state to their party's benefit whenever possible.The Republicans will delay Obama's nominations for damn near everything. And it's all the fault of the same people that are bitching about it.

PS: Unions aren't communist any more than lobbyists are communist. They advocate for who signs their checks.
 
I try not to respond to political threads here but this is about teachers and you're obviously misguided.

It sounds like you haven't read much about Weimar Germany and the economic preconditions that allowed for the Third Reich to flourish. Agree or disagree there are valid historical reasons to call these actions Hitlerian, although that's not quite accurate. The man of the time was Heinrich Bruning, although Hitler & Co. kept similar policies in place just long enough to get people desperate enough to accept their bullshit geopolitics.

Call it what you will but historically speaking the comparison is not a 'brainwashed' statement as you called it.

In fact the number of current economic/financial/political trends in the US and worldwide right now are eerily congruent with the late 1920s and early/mid 1930s.

This statement pretty much shows that you wouldn't know what was good for the wellbeing of any modern nation if your life depended on it. You're not an educator and you're certainly not politically informed. You're a reactionary dupe with no understanding of modern history.
