Communist Scum Shutting Down Wisconsin Because The People Are Coming For Them

Don't most people get fired if they hide from their employer on work days?

Not when your using your previously agreed to benefit time. So your saying you have never called in sick when you weren't? That's a bullshit argument and anyone who has ever had a job knows it.

yeah but it's not like they're working a regular job in a fucking mindless office cubicle or flipping burgers.

Are the police normally ordered to bring back people that are just away using their previously agreed to benefit time?

If your referring to the 16 democrats that took off unfortunately they cant be fired for a couple more years they are elected officials.

Seems pretty black and white to me...

Either contribute more towards your HC and pensions, or thousands of people are going to be out of a job. Of course if they choose the latter, this problem will come up next year, the year after that, and so on.

40% of teachers calling in sick is not cool. This is the kids being robbed of their education by teachers who think they are entitled to compensation packages that aren't found in the private sector.

... and yet people will continue to go to the polls and "vote for change."

And when things worsen, they'll go to the polls and "vote for change."

And when that doesn't work, they'll go to the polls and "vote for change."

lol voters.

Scott Walker ran on the platform of responsible spending, and stopping Government bloat. He's doing just that, common sense, and he's getting crucified. People are retarded, protect themselves, and not care about what's best. Fuck them.

This:

Wisconsin government workers currently pay 6% of their health care premiums, and 0% of their pensions.

Walker is asking them to pay 12% of their health care premiums and 5.6% of their pensions.

In contrast, in the private sector, roughly 59% of employers provide some form of health insurance for their employees- of those, on average the employee has to pay around 50% of their premiums. Pensions barely exist anymore but of those private sector employees who actually get a pension, they on average pay more than 10%.

And this. Would love to hear the people's response to the above two points.

Voting for change isn't the problem. Voting for the same two parties over and over and over and over and over again is the problem. 35% of Americans call themselves independents, but 98% of them will always vote red or blue. The voters are the problem, not the concept of voting. Support 3rd party candidates for change, otherwise bend over and grease up for more of the same.

It makes me sick. You have these liberal nutjobs in HIDING because they know they'll fucking lose the vote. That's outright criminal and the police should hunt them down, bring them back to the legislature, and force them to vote.

Then you have these fucking loons with signs equating Walker to Hitler, calling for his death, comparing him to a murderer like Mubarak, and bringing their students to their diseased rally. Wonder where your kids are? When they're not being brainwashed, they're helping the communists by padding their rally numbers.

I say go fucking balls out, Walker. Fire 1,000 state employees a day until these Democrat cowards come back to the legislature. Then when they come back, vote this bill in. Destroy these disgusting commie scum. Every single one of the teachers that called in sick that day or dragged their stupid students to that rally should be fired and their pension destroyed. Go balls to the wall and destroy these unions, Walker. Destroy them.

Ok so wait when they do it, it is wrong but when you do it, it is ok?

So now the leftist overlords in their great panic have turned to a new strategy: organize their idiot readers into an SEO army and use them to rank negative articles for a candidate's name.

These liberal fucktards are going to get RAPED in November.

Impeach the Communist.

Good response, I appreciate the reasoned tone, and I've considered all that you mention. Normally there is a lot of overlap between the two parties, you are correct in that regard, however I keep trying to tell people Obama is different.

Research his background. Research his history. Research his friends. Research who he has appointed to various positions. These are 60's era radical communists(LITERALLY, they've admitted to it!) who traded their hippie garb for suits and are now working to transform the system from within. Mark Lloyd, Anita Dunn, Van Jones, Carol Browner, Cass Sunstein, Jim Wallis, these are all SELF-ADMITTED communists. And they were all elevated to positions of power by Obama. I'm telling you, there is a pattern developing here.

Believe me, I realize how crazy this all sounds, but I wouldn't be saying it if I didn't absolutely believe it. Obama is not your average politician, he's not your average Democrat or Republican, he is the Trojan Horse no one saw coming(not even Hillary), people keep thinking they can draw these usual comparisons, but they can't. Either I'll be proven wrong, which I doubt, or this pattern will only continue and grow stronger.

But I appreciate the measured tone anyways.

The problem is not this bill but the whole education system in general. That is the focus here, teachers who are over worked and under paid losing the last thing they felt would get them somewhere.

I honestly do not like Unions and think the way they run does need to be re-worked but this is not the way to go. I mean how can you argue about freedom, socialism and all that shit but still allow the rights these people have worked for to be basically wiped out.

I think the bill should entail the things the teachers need to keep them in check. Performance bonuses for teachers that are good at what they do. Fire once that suck or hate what they do. Stop protecting the ones that are worthless under the veil of the Union.

This holds true in WI on so many levels, Anyone from WI can tell you MPD is fucked up and there are many cases where cops abuse things and still get just laid off.

You and I are going to disagree on this. You have more faith/optimism in people than I.

Here's where I'm coming from:

If I, as a voter, didn't respect private property, I'd vote for the guy who was likely to give me the property of others. Or, if I was under the spell of my own misguided "charitable" notions, I'd vote for the guy who was likely to give poor people the property of others.

The politician who redistributes property could come from any party, Dems, Repubs, Tea Party, etc. The problem is a system that allows a larger group to vote for itself the property of the smaller group.

If three people came to your door and demanded your cash, you might say, "Fuck you. Get off my property."

If three people voted for a thug to come to your door and demand your cash, you might call that democracy.

UG, I assume we're okay disagreeing with each other on this. I also assume we'll both make more money today off the forum. :)

Oh, and lol at voters.

This is correct but you forgot the most important part of the whole thing. They will also lose all collective bargaining rights minus salary and could only negotiate salary based on what the state legislature would allow.

The unions have stated they can accept paying more for health care and premiums. They arent going to allow them to strip collective bargaining rights.

Doesn't free market capitalism allow for workers to combine together for negotiating with management? Isn't that a natural expectation that would be built into the sytem, or does the system need intervention to stop workers getting their side of it?

Instead of blaming the teachers do your bit and stop buying chinese stuff. Recovery starts with number 1.

When are these scum gonna realize we owe them NOTHING? Not a job, not a guaranteed raise, not a pension, not fucking health benefits, NOTHING. You don't like how much you're paid, quit. You don't like how much you contribute to your pension, quit. If any private sector employee went to their boss and called them Hitler because he lowered their wages or raised their pension contributions, he'd fire them in an INSTANT. An instant. The discrepancy between what we allow in the private and public sectors disgusts me. I hope Walker fires every single one of them.

The whole public sector makes me sick, honestly. If it wasn't for defense, I'd say we abolish the whole thing. But teachers making 100,000 a year? Why does any public employee make a dime above their private sector counterpart? How does anyone allow this?

The libs on here are clueless as usual, the morons and dingleberries try to suck up as usual, and hardly any of the useful idiots realize this is a tactic that's been employed by the unions for years. Incrementalism, raise taxes higher and higher, make the disparity between public and private larger and larger until the government parasites have all the power and the engine that powers it all is exhausted.

Honestly, why the fuck are these lunatics protesting? Now it's spreading to other states, there is some serious shit going on here. Do they want the U.S. to go bankrupt? Do they want the dollar to collapse? I'm not talking about the clueless students or even the brainwashed teachers/firefighters ginned up by OFA, I'm talking about the real forces behind this. Surely they know what will happen if the states continue like this? What is their real goal? What is their endgame?

Collective bargaining, shmargaining.

I say we roll back all labor laws to these happy days.
Child labor was ending before labor laws prohibited it. Child labor around the world declined with the industrial revolution and increases in living standards.

It is a myth that government rescued children from factories legislatively.

Doesn't free market capitalism allow for workers to combine together for negotiating with management
Absolutely. But what is free market capitalism about a public sector union? Where is the competition? Where is the market demand?

Where's the competition in employment opportunities when the state is the primary supplier of education? One employer? One collective negotiating voice. No rules, let the bargaining system decide. If Walker wants to sack all the teachers then go ahead, sack them. Just don't expect people to take too kindly when they realise there aren't any other teachers ready to step in to educate their kids to an acceptable level. If they want to go on strike let them strike, let's see how long the state can last without them and how long they can last without money. If the workers buckle and return to work soon then they need the money so are prepared to work for less. If they hold out for ages then the state needs them and consquently their value should be reflected in their pay packages. Everything has got a price, it's just a case of finding what it is. God, all this talk of using legislature to control the workers sounds like communism to me.

Where's the competition in employment opportunities when the state is the primary supplier of education?
There is none. Which is why there is no free market capitalism in this equation.

God, all this talk of using legislature to control the workers sounds like communism to me.
It was also communism when the unions originally used the state to plunder the productive private class.
