Corner office? What's the view like?
Nothing too nice. Plus the glass is really dirty right now, we're going to speak to the person in charge about cleaning them from the outside.
change the chairs for starters..
Not an option. Originally, we'd planned the interiors keeping in mind a black "Herman miller" embody chair. However, eventually when I did not get one (because it costs me twice as much as it costs you..(govt's heavy import taxes)).
Later, I just happened to come across these and just had to have them.
I know they look absolutely out of place, but I figured, well, the couch will match the chairs and the chairs will match the couch.
Eventually I also got a table pad made for free from the wastage

.
Point being, the chairs, I know look out of place, but they're awesome nonetheless. And they're shit expensive as well, hence replacing them is not an option.
Just noticed - surely there's no room to move your mouse without heavy wrist strain, unless you have the sensitivity on a ridiculous level?
Yep. Sensitivity is always really low. Besides, I rarely have to use the keyboard and mouse together a lot. I'm generally using either one. It's not really inconvenient as such.
Too much bling bling in such a small cubicle, feels strange
A bigger place isn't an option. If I want to have a 300 sq. ft. cabin to myself, it would cost about $$250-280k. (prevalent property rates on the current market).
Maybe if I was making 2-3 times what I'm making right now, I'd get a big cabin.
The chairs should be replaced and the amethyst doesn't match well with the Staples desk beneath it.
The desk isn't a "staples". It's custom made as well.
The office is WHITE WHITE WHITE. The way we picturized it (interior designer and myself), the amethyst was going to be the only element of colour standing out in a fully white/black/steel cabin.
