bonds is the best player to ever play the game. he would have been a first ballot hall of famer if he retired in 1996. 8 fucking gold gloves. 14 time all star. 40 and 40. 7 time mvp. not to mention he led the league in walks over like two thirds of his fucking career.
for the second part of his career, he reinvented himself as a slugger. he got fed up with mcgwire and sosa getting all the props, all while he knew that he and griffey were the best hitters in the league. he figured, fuck it, if everyone else is going to use steroids so am i.

if you know anything about baseball you know this is absolutely DISGUSTING. from a sabermetric perspective, this guy is probably third offensively behind ruth and williams, but overall i think he is the greatest

If Bonds is allowed to keep the record after they prove he's been taking roids, then all the players should be allowed to juice. Its not right when only some of the players do it.
I feel Barry was already a hall of famer before he even touched roids. I think he looked at what Mcgwire and sosa did with the juice and figured ( hey, I can do the same shit).
However, Hank Aaron doesn't deserve this. Roger Marris didn't deserve to have his single season record broken either. It's a shame that 2 of the good guys to play the game have their record broken by a couple cheaters.

I think he would be 50-100 short at this point if it wasn't for his 4 year peak between 2001-04. In 2005 baseball really started craking down hard on testing. Sure I realize he ONLY averaged 45 hrs from 2002-2004, but, he was also in his late thirties-early 40's and you don't produce PRIME numbers as you get older.

fuck yeah! We are interested in Bonds,Hilton,Vick and lohan but not about the important issues out there ( like soilders getting their limbs blown to pieces) . Well, 95% of the people I know think Bonds is more important, so that must be the right answer.

Whatever US team wins is pretty much the world champ. Last US dominated sport that they tried to let other countries in was basketball. We ended up watching a bunch of 7'5" guys stepping on a few Chinese dudes for about an hour with size 40 Reeboks. I believe the ending score was 160-2. (one of the players accidentally dunked the opposing pointguard, who to his credit was in the fetal position and wearing an orange jersey).
Other countries need to stick to soccer. It's a sport even a malnourished Ethiopian kid can play along side my grandma's physical therapy class....The two would never get along if it wasn't for soccer
