Whether right or wrong, and the violence is obviously wrong, all of the above come from a political struggle.

Saying join our religion or die (basically what the Koran says) and acting on this is not a cause, or political or at any level justifiable.

That's the difference, it's just sadly a lot of people explain it as 'fuck all Muslims', when it's Islam which is the core issue, not the Muslim people.

So I think it's correct to say, there is no terroism like this, except from Islam.

I am Christian too, but let me clue you in - we have committed the worst crimes in history; I seriously have no clue why people are looking for reasons to hate - I mean, if you wanna hate, just hate, why do you need to justify it?
 
You can hardly say N Ireland was purly for religious reasons, that's bullshit.

And no where did I say someone was more violent than someone else, Christians over history have killed more than their fair share of people in the name of God.

But my point remains - there are a group of extreme followers of Islam killing people who disagree with them and that's different to your three examples.

Calling the Irish mess purely religious is ignorant of the entire situation. On top of that, the IRA, FARC (Colombia), and Basque terror groups are isolated and unrelated to each other. Most of the wide-spread, worldwide terrorism has been Islamic groups.

Not by the higher ups it isn't, but they're using religious reasons as a motivator to get the underlings to do these bombings. The people carrying out these bombings largely do it for religious reasons because they've been brainwashed.

I think we can - I agree it's not purely religious that's just the false justification for a bunch of cunts to control the populous via poverty and ignorance through lack of education.

Most of the guys on their way to Alah and 30 virgins via a strap on bomb are drugged, brainwashed, uneducated and poor as shit.

But if you can't fix those four problems then I guess removing the illusion of Islamic terrorism being acceptable is the next best thing.

Although they do it in the name of religion, their true underlying motive definitely has more to do with the economy. If these suicide bombers didn't grow up in poverty with little education under corrupt governments they wouldn't have turned to religious extremism.

I don't think we're disagreeing with each other, but I don't think that you can say that Islam is the reason, or even a major reason for terrorism. If Islam didn't exist there would be some other form of extremism that would have led to a very similar end result.

SURE, they could be using some text other than the Koran as their tool to keep the brainwash-able folks doing their bidding, but they have found a powerful tool and use it they do. The people at the top are just a tiny fraction of the "Islamic" and without that tool they wouldn't have so much success convincing so many to kill kill kill.

Nah, just saying if you've got a nice house, nice car, money in your pocket and a decent set of titties to squeeze you're going to be a fuck load harder to convince to walk into a primary school and blow yourself up, Koran or no Koran.

Proving terrorists are cunts doesn't make them any less cunts, and I think that's more the point we were discussing above - and how the trend may be reversed.
