Side note: how do you know that the mental clarity wasn't due to a lot of caffeine being absorbed by your large intestine. And yes before you criticize me, that does happen.
but you know what? who am I to judge?
If it makes you happy to pour a venti coffee into your ass a few times a day, have at it!
how can a professional marketer fail to see the hype behind "alternative medicine"?
the most valuable commodity on earth is hope, and every alternative medical treatment whether acute or prophylactic carries that as it's payload.
Yeah I think the fasting part is probably the most important element. I'll hit the place up one of these days. Thanks.
Yeah, right. I'm sure you've heard of the medical cartel called the American Medical Association. You know, the association that limits the number of medical schools in the country to limit competition.
Most doctors take about 1 unit of nutrition education. The alternative medicine guys were about 10+ years ahead of the curve on the dangers of high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils. I ditched those back in the early 90's before most people had a clue about them.
But this is America, so if you want to remain full of shit, it's your God-given right.![]()
Ok, cool...just out of curiousity, don't they have other liquids than can be used for the colon cleansing? I don't really understand the whole hype behind coffee enemas. You're welcome. When I was there, there was a broad from the UK who said the flushing didn't work for her because of the caffeine. She was an insomniac. She was just there for the fasting.
It's a nice place to fast. You're right on the beach and everyone around you is fasting, too. They make the drinks for you, so it's effortless. Just remember to take your drinks and herbal pills. The wi-fi they have is pretty fast, so you can get some work done, too.
I'm the first to admit that the medical establishment is a racket.
That being said, if they could profit off of something like this and it didn't have the potential to cause serious problems, I think they'd be doing exactly that. So why aren't they?

Probably because it's 10X more profitable to force potentially lethal pills and untested drugs down the market's throat.
Just look at abilify. Sure, you could legalize weed and profit from that....or charge $200 a bottle for a depression cure that might just fucking kill you and give you 100 different side effects. It's just ridiculous.

You are correct, it's much easier to spend hundreds of millions of dollars developing expensive drugs, and then waiting years for them to gain FDA approval than it is to charge $400 for a large anal coffee, no cream.

I spent about $900 in total, which included 10 nights accommodation, the fasting/flushing program, 1-day scooter rental, and wi-fi.
I remember reading about this spa last year. Looks pretty interesting to say the least. I heard about it when a radio show host here in LA was talking about coffee enemas. It's something you can do at home, so long as it's not hot (duh) and you can hold it in through all the cramping that you're bound to experience (from what I read).
Have any of my fellow gay webmasters ever received a colonic? Colon irrigation I think is another term for it. I have a lady friend who did it for bloating... Sounds very awkward to have a woman shoving a tube up my ass (although I'm used to men putting things in there, so go figure).
